DGS was here earlier and was a little angel.I did his reading with him and noted it in his reading journal..that was nice.
He does some funny things. He has had me,grandad, the ice cream man and his mum and Aunty in stitches tonight....
Mum2one and her DD kindly sent DGS some stuff...there was a bob the builder shower cap in there..he asked swhat it was for and explained that it was for keeping your hair dry in the shower.

DGS was playing outside the door nattering away to himself quite happily when he came in put the shower cap on and went back out again...5 mins later he came in wet!!!....he said it works..I said what does?..he said the shower cap...it was only raining and he'd not told me...lol...
Anyway brought him back in and sat hime down to watch the simpsons..when he hears the ice cream van(at this point he didn't have the cap on)...I went to check if the van was near the house it was ..so called him out he comes withy his shower cap on and proceeded to have a long natter with the ice cream man about all sorts off stuff including Mum2one and her DD etc etc....like a little old nman ...
His mum and aunty came in and he was getting ready to go home and insisted on wearing his shower cap all the way home!!!

I've got tears rolling down my face here, I could just imagine him! xx

I daren't ring his mum ...he's probably gone to bed in it..lol

Had a load of parcels delivered today and am really happy with the stuff I bought of various sellers on there...all nicely packaged and undamaged...I have also done feedback on the ones I've received so far.

Avon..now what can I say...damaged box and 2 items missing...BUT...worst of all the Lady delivery driver knocked on the door and by the time DH got to the door she had put the box in the hallway!!!!....We were both fuming as we have 2 dogs and one is a rottie...if they'd have been vicious and the living room door wasn't shut then she could have been attacked!!!!...as it happens you'll not meet a softer Rottiebut How dare she just open the door and not wait for an answer putting the parcel straight in my house?????
He was at the door quick as she was just getting back in the van that's how he knew it was a she!!!!

Irang Avon to lodge a complaint about damaged box, missing items and delivery person...missing items will be resent and take 5-7 days!!...they apologised about the woman...I asked if I would get a response to the complaint they said no....so doubt I will use them again....
I ordered from Evans and the same thing happened a few weeks ago..wonder if it's the same woman

That is appaeling, could be a lot of firms use couriers, that is disguisting walking in, as dd would say I'm kung fu them, then she does her version of the kung fu! xx

To say I was fuming is an understatement...I don't know why she thought she could just open the front door but that's sheer stupidity as you never know what is behind the door.

As you well know Tess is really soft but if she wasn't and had bit the woman I bet she would have tried to sue and have her put down!!!..that's what really annoyed me.

On a MSE front checked bank accounts etc. and all are ok.

Back on the PAD front have just paid £40 to DHs BMI card .

I'm hoping to make A PAD everyday now and to be back at work on Sunday..was going to go today saturday but have to wait for BG ...

Hope you all have a good day x

Taxi, sounds like you've had a great day!

I'm with you on the idea of somebody just dumping stuff without waiting to check if anyone answers the door - it happens with the Royal Mail round here sometimes, sends me spare - or people saying "we tried to deliver but you were out".

Do you actually leave your front door unlocked all the time? I've heard that about Canada, even in the cities........ I'm envious.........

Other thing, while I'm here (this feels very disjointed, sorry) - if I've got a long post, thats going to be a real pain to type out again - I copy it first - I don't bother pasting it anywhere, just copy it in case it goes astray.

Have a good one - that last post of yours is *********so********** late!

BG came this morning and everything seems to be working fine.

I seem to be getting on top of the housework now.I'm quite csure that I'll manage to deep clean the house by end of Oct and get a routine going.

Going back to work tomorrow..then I can back to making overpayments again.

Christmas shopping is done now so the only biggish expense will be DD2s 21st in Nov...I give her cash and she will be doing whatever with her mates so doesn't cost me.

Will be making a large overpayment on Halifax CC on tuesday..so that is coming down nicely.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

I'm just chilling tonight now as I'm quite tired...will be sticking washing and drying in as and when but thats it.

Its really simple, honestly. Step by step:
    - finish writing the post
    - highlight everything you don't want to lose
    - press copy.
    - press 'submit reply' on the page - only if the site loses your post do you need to do anything.

If the site loses your post, and you've done the above:
    - make sure the cursor is active in the "reply" box (this box, that we type into)
    - press paste.
    - thats it!

Experiment with a single word and delete it again. You can press paste lots of times, for instance, and the same text will come up over and over.

    Good luck!
I was up late as couldn't sleep..went to bed at 7am..lol
