Thanks Karma for the explanation.

Right the gas man came.He found the fault and he needed to order a new part(I have no hot water and no heating).He went to order it and his computer crashed so he missed the 6.30 pm deadline so he phoned his office and it was too late to order.
So he said another engineer will go to local suppliers in the morning to see if they can get the part and if they can will fit it tomorrow afternoon.
Failing all that it will be ordered tomorrow for monday...so we have no hot water and heating all weekend!!

Since this afternoon on the cleaning front I have.
Cleaned the glass in the front and back door.
Sorted/put away all stuff on fireplaces.
polished mirror in dining room.
Cleaned windows frames and sills in bathroom,my bedroom and DDs bedroom.
Cleaned mirror and glass shelf in bathroom
Cleaned toilet, bath and sink.
Cleaned bathroom cupboard
Emptied bathroom bin
Cleaned glass on wardrobes and chest of drawers in my bedroom.
Dusted and sorted all bottles of toiletries in my room.
Cleaned TV and glass stand in my bedroom.
cleaned photos and mirror in DDs room


I am having a rest now before starting again!!!

Hope they manage to get the part sorted 2mor, sods law isn't it.

Guess its off the DS or DD for a shower! Gd excuse for not cooking, can't wash up! x
