I've just done my house insurance through quidco...don't know whether I'll get the cashback though!!!!
My renewal for cooperative insurance was £316.58 but through quidco (£40 cashback) it was only £219.99...so I've bought it anyway as when I checked the other sites on there they were even dearer than my original cooperative quote!!!0 -
I am sure it will track, although with most insurance cashback they wait three months before validating or paying it just to make sure that you don't cancel the policy and take the cashback.
I am sure it will be fine!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Didn't know whether I'd get it due to already having house insurance with them...I've saved just short of £100 on the quote they sent me anyway so that's a result and the £40 will be an icing on the cake.
Since being off line...I've had a lovely tea..Thai red curry and rice..they had Lloyd Grossman sauces on offer at £1 the other day so I got one to try and can highly recommend it...It was delicious !!!!
I'm in front of myself with paperwork as I've filled in the paperwork and wrote the cheque out for my badge and put it on top of the accounts file ready for Monday..along with the insurance documents...I've also wrote out my cheque for my subs and put that with a copy of my insurance for the office ready for tomorrow...how organised am I...LOL?
Think I'll get a bit of housework done as DH has just gone to work.0 -
I ordered some of the Lloyd Grossman sauces when I did my online shop today, at £1 too. I like the green curry one - probably one of the best sauces I have used......and at just £1 which I can stretch to feed 4, that is not bad at all
We are having chicken pie and jacket potatoes this evening.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
I didn't try the green one but will definitely buy some more while they are on offer as you feel like you're having a take away when you have it but without the cost so very MSE.
Your tea sounds lovely too..did you make the pie?0 -
no - they had deep fill pies on offer, which are really nice. Full price they are expensive but on offer they feed us all without costing much at all, yet they are delicious!
My pastry making skills are not great, so by the time I have bought ready roll pastry, plus bits for the filling, I can't make it as nice or as cheap as when they are on BOGOF!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. I'm the same. Can't make pastry very well. It's always a case of what offers really good value for the meal.I get fed up of meat potaoes and veg most of the time.So we are trying to shove some other stuff in.Tomorrow we're having pasta and a sauce with fresh parmesan on top..cheap but filling.
I really struggle for ideas for main meals...need to have a look on o/s board and see if people post menus on there.0 -
Taxi - have a look at the grocery challenge, there are tonnes of recipes over the first couple of posts and there is usually a weekly thread of peoples menu plans for inspiration.
Well done on getting your accounts up to date and your totals are looking great - you will be sub 80k before you know it x x xPay Debt by Xmas 16 - 0/12000

I do love these boards.
They are making me quite savvy....without them I wouldn't know about Quidco. There are so many money saving things on these boards.
I ventured off Debt free Wannabee board tonight o nto one of those shopping boards and found a post about books where they had a discount code for £5 and saying that you also get £5 cashback from Quidco....so I used quidco and went through it and bought DGS a book that was £6.06 free delivery got £5 discount so cost £1.06 and will hopefully get £5 cashback.
I also went through quidco and placed an order for over £20 free delivery with Avon and got 10% cashback..that's tracked already!!!..I bought loads of 99p items for beauty hampers for my 2 DDs christmas hampers.
I also used quidco earlier for house insurance...saved £100 on original coop quote and will hopefully get £40 cashback.
So quite productive shopping wise today....
To think I used to be frightened to shop on the internet!!!....
Got DGS a bargainous christmas present at home bargains last week...an action man with missile firing car (large) for £13.50...
Going to make sure I venture of these boards sometimes...lol0
