Morning all and thanks. It's such a relief!!!..I've just phoned the accountant and am going to drop them off monday so while down there I may as well kill another job and nip to the council to drop off insurance and pay for my new badge.
I'm very tired this morning as spent 12 hours yesterday doing those accounts.
Very windy here and need to nip out to PO and to fill the car so will catch you all later.0 -
Well done missus, that is a relief. Had to say i am having a major headache with guiding accounts at the moment,it was passed over to me a week ago. I am having kittens with it, although technically not my problem i feel it is like a personal mission to get on top of it.:o
If only i could do the same with my accounts- life would be good.:o:rotfl:Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -
well done for getting the accounts done in one day.
and well done for paying of over £5k since August, that's some feet. I thought i was doing well paying off on average £1k a month but i can't match that!0 -
Can't believe how much you have paid off, and ur saving, you are going gret guns and don't let anyone else tell you any different.
Theres me aiming for 5k in a year, and u've done that in 6 weeks.
The next thing you need to get you and Mr Taxi a holiday sorted out, somewhere nice hot + exotic...... xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Thanks all.
I'm glad it's not just me that feels that way about the accounts...I don't know why I make it hard work!!!
I've just come back from garage and PO so have updated my accounts today...it only takes a couple of minutes...so I'm bang up to date..it feels good...lol.
I've no idea how I've paid that much off in such a short time either but the figures are correct.I've actually paid a bit more as my Virgin statement isn't ready yet.
I just need to keep on plodding on and paying what I can when I can and not stress too much when things are not getting paid off as quick as I'd like.
My savings are for tax/mortgage/emergency or whatever it may be needed for.
When I go back to work I'm hoping to put at least £100 p/w in the savings and to pay extra on every card.
This month is hard again as we have no surplus at the minute as the car was off the road for a few days and I've also had time off last month as well..I'm hoping God willing to get a good run now.
I need to sort the house insurance out as well so will go and have a look on Quidco later to see what's happening there.
Since coming back I've washed the pots and made myself a brew and that's about it...
Going to pop and see how you lot are doing now x0 -
Wow - I'm pretty impressed - paid off over 5grand, saved and ALL whilst feeling under the weather and not motivated - Dread tot think what can happen when you are TOP form
I second what mumtoone just said - I'll be happy to pay that in a year never mind in a month and a halfJanuary spends - £587.580 -
Thanks Milann..don't know whether I can pay that every 6 weeks ..LOL but will give everything my best shot.
I really do want to get to the back end of it all...no debt whatso ever...
In reality as I have to keep buying new taxis that may be impossible on a forever basis...
In my ideal world ...I would have no mortgage and no debt and have enough cash saved for when I need a new taxi.I just need the car to last a long time to achieve that.0
