Taxi. On this particular road you are now on there may be some road works, temporary traffic lights and some refuelling to do but you know what...stick on that road, follow the map and you WILL get there...we all know it on here and now you do too

Thanks you two...it does now feel that I'll have a future.
This is my wake up call to get as fit and healthy as possible now and to lower my risks.0 -
Sorry Dizzie you posted same time as me...
it will be a rocky road and very tiresome but each treatment is one step nearer the end.0 -
Great news Taxi! You are a realist and know it won't be easy, but as the others have said, you will join the ranks of those who have come out the other side.
The fact that you have changed so much of your life (and getting rid of the stress of debt is a big positive) can only help you make a full recovery.
No doubt we'll be seeing you Shredding in no time
Have a nice evening x0 -
It will be an achievement if I can shred..lol as I've hardly energy to walk somedays..lol
I agree the changes I've made so far can help recovery....0 -

Babysteps is the Flylady mantra and it applies to most areas in life. Change can happen slowly, but then you'll look back one day and see how far you have come.
I certainly couldn't make it to the top of the road without almost passing out when I started running, now I can do 9 miles and I love it.
I was never sporty at school and didn't start running until I was in my 30's - some take it up in their 50's,60's and 70's - so there loads of time
Babysteps is the key0
