How exciting a mortgage almost under 30K! That does sound repayble. I have a picture in my head of scales with your savings on one side and the mortgage on the other - and it will be fantastic when the scales balance!

Have a lovely weekend away and have lots of fun and laughter too,

Thanks Maggie...that is exactly how I describe it to DH..LOL

The car sailed through the pits today and all paperwork is now deposited in the office and local council....

Next big expense will be taxi insurance at beginning of september.

DH has been off the 2 days which is nice as I've had company. We haven't done anything really but it's been nice to have time together.

So glad the pits went well and that you have had some time with your lovely husband. I agree about the weather complete pants typical start to the school holidays.

Mortgage busting seems to be well and truly under control - not surprised by that on your past form.

Glad you didn't stay away long we missed you.

Its unbelievable, trouble is it was coming and bits and dabs, and now raining all ngt, .......sods law due to be school hols so it rains.

Changing the topic, but the show was absolutely out of this world, "Murdered to the Death", bit like Agatha Christie but funnier, it was brilliant, highly recommend if it comes to a theatre near you. x

  • Glad you got it all sorted Taxi. Those are exciting figures on the mortgage- is it just me, or is anyone else playing with a calculator figuring out scenarios for paying off? :)
