my mortgage will go down every month as it's a repayment.
my savings will go up as I put money in my savings
then eventually there'll be enough in the savings to match the outstanding mortgage...

Hey Taxi...glad to see that you are round and about again.
And as for your mortgage, if you start busting that at the same rate you were busting your debts once your treatment is finished, you'll be mortgage free in two years, I reckon.
