Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -
Afternoon all..
Slept in until 10.30 am today...must've needed it...lol
Can't wait to get rid of the mortgage but not going to worry about it.Will just throw what I can when I can into the savings and that along with the repayments will balance at some time and hey presto it'll be gone...lol
Got a letter from DSS today to say that my benefit is going up in august..I phoned them and don't need to go for a medical until at least november or put sick notes in....so that's good.
Still haven't done my accounts or much else really...so must do them.
Got my anti cancer book that I ordered the other day so will be reading that over the next few days...
DH got some lavender from the park and has made a couple of little bags that he's tied with string....and has put them in the car..he made the bags out of an old muslin cotton shirt he had in the wardrobe....how mse is that...lol.
I plan to declutter the house bit by bit over the next few months...
DH usually uses febreeze on the car seats in the cab....do you think if I get a trigger bottle and put some organic essential oil in and water that it would do the same job?0 -

Thanks that is really useful.
Am looking for all different chemical free ways of cleaning.0 -
Hi Taxi so good to see you back
Sounds like a great idea re: the essential oils and spray instead of febreeze. You can also pop those scented sachets that you put in drawers, under car seats too or in the boot to keep things fresh smelling, though your DH lavender bags sound so sweet.
Have a lovely day

I want a hubby like Taxi's! Lavender bags...oh yes!
Good idea, Taxi, about the chemical-free cleaning. I've got a book called 'Green Clean: Eco-Friendly Cleaning for the Home' from Thw Works. It was only about three pounds, and it is great. I would recommend it if you haven't got one. xPlease call me 'Pickle'
