Hey Taxi. Nice to hear about the organic goodness and guess what? We bought a Panni, too! :D Now we can be bread buddies! ;)

Just awaiting confirmation to see when to pick it up. I was very :money: about the whole thing: it was £97 to start with (which is about as cheap as they can be found), minus 10% thanks to a code I found on here, and free delivery. Woo hoo! :D

    Take it lemon squeezy. x

    Yay :j:j:j

    Taxi's home :T:T:T:T

Well done Hun - first hurdle crossed....hoping you will get some GOOD feedback on the op results soon as the waiting is not fun :(

Diclofenac - alternative anti-inflammatory to Naproxefen with (it is reported) less GI side effects

Paramol (paracetomol and codeine) is an OverTheCounter that may have less side effects then Tramadol but may not be as strong. It's my painkiller of choice. Fortral is stronger - (but when I took it I had hallucinations of green spiders coming out of the walls :D)

If the stuff they give you doesn;t suit - dont be afraid to make a fuss and ask for an alternative ;)

So glad to hear you;re through this op and back home relaxing. Make sure you exercise the arm thoroughly as instructed (and push it a bit :whistle:) to keep your mobility (assuming they took a node or two?)...after all, regardless of the fact you are ambidextrous - we want you lifting that glass of bubbly in your proper hand at end of July :beer:

Well done Hun :T:T.....- stay strong - we are all here wishing/chanting/praying for the very best outcome for you :grouphug::grouphug::grouphug:

Hugs and whiskery piggie kisses to Auntie Taxi

    Thanks Wol...

What I need to find out is the common denominator between Tramadol and Naproxen..as both cause me anaphalaxcia(sp)....
If I can find out the actual ingredient that causes the problems..then I can avoid that..there is no allergy test for medication.

I don't knowwhether the reaction to Tramadol was caused by the combination of dye, anaesthetic and Tramadol but it came on within a couple of minutes of going in my drip.

I have both strengths of co codamol in the house 8/500 and 30/500 so will take those if necessary...I try to avoid taking tablets if I can.

I still have the dye in my system...as I have a blue bulb and no 2 is green..lol

It frightensme to take any painkillers as don't know what reaction I'll get..lol

Great to hear you sounding so well Taxi and so glad you've got the op out of the way, I'm sure you are too :)

I know people poo-poo organic, but it defo the right way to go I reckon. All healthy foods will give your body the best possible chance of healing speedily.

    Have a restful evening xx

This could be a very bad idea. :rotfl: If I had to live on a treasure island with only one food source for the rest of my life, guess what it would be? :rotfl: :rotfl:

Now get some rest, missus! ;)

As for the painkillers, can you take something like Neurofen if required until the BCN can sort you out with something stronger?

I've always agreed with organic stuff but couldn't afford it...surely all the chemicals we spray around the house, put on our food or on our body can't be good for us....do you know a woman uses on average 515 chemicals on her face a day when using make up....that'salot and skin absorbs it so it has to go somewhere...

I have a book on green cleaning. It's really good - it shows you how to make all your own cleaners so that you don't have to buy the chemical versions in. Sometimes they take a bit longer to work, but work they do. If I come across another copy, I'll send it to you. I haven't quite figured out the make-up yet, although there are some organic ones, but they are uber-expensive. I may investigate further.
