Taxi! I had no idea you'd be home so quickly, how nice to be back in your own environment - absolutely agree about getting lots of horizontal time and sleeping and being spoilt rotten - and how nice to come to that MacMillan cheque, very good news. Thats a bit weird being on a urology ward.... thats extra good to get out of there fast, there's no connection to that part of you at all!
I had to shake my head when you wrote "nothing to report" - as if we expected you to be running about doing the cheques and the free bingo and whatnot. Noooooooooo! Take it easy - if you do sit outside, do you have a lounger? And use sunscreen.
Lots and lots of very gentle hugs.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Take it easy and do have the pain killers. I think there will be pain relief left in your system from the OP and you will know if you need some when you get niggly and just feel uncomfortable-but you will know when you need them.
It is lovely to be back home and at least you can potter round the house and sit down. Hopefully this nice weather will keep up and you can relax in the garden
Great news on the cheque- what a wonderful organisation.
Much hugs and best wishes for good out come and speedy recovery. xBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

What Bob said- glad you got good news, Bob!!!
Excellent about the cheque - that should keep you in organic smellies for a while! Tramadol didn't agree with me either - only took it once and I didn't react as strongly as you seem to have, but it was really disorientating / 'out there' / hallucinating / cold sweating - managed to avoid it since...

Great to have you home and on MSE! Lovely to hear that you have been so well looked after and about the cheque - it all helps you to focus on recovery. Fingers crossed that the results are 'good' news.
Take lots of rest. We're off to spend time with both of our Dads today.
Sending lots of love and virtual hugs.

It's good to be home as I think it's easier to recover here as I can eat or drink what I want when I want and also I Won't pick up any of those nasty bugs that you can get in hospital..so a win win situation.0
