Just a thought - our NHS area has free parking for cancer patients due to the amount of time you can be there. Might be worth asking as that is ne less cost to think about.

That's a good idea to look into the parking...thanks...would never have thought of that one.
I called the BCN late yesterday but it was on answer phone..so left message...she'll probably ring today....perhaps the post will bring something.
Went to archery last night but I didn't shoot ...DH did...I just wanted to pay the memberships and pick up some eqipment.

In our local hospital, those with cancer get an exemption cert from the ward sister.

Hope the post brings a date (as it where!)

Is there any chance today is a 'chillax!' day (my 11 year old neice believes this is a very cool word)

Not got much planned today...just a couple of bits and pieces have to be done ie:wash hair,pick up potatoes and bread,washing,drying and that's it!!!

Haven't decided yet what energy I have to tackle optional stuff....

Think it's a great idea looking into parking as I will have the op..so that's a few days parking...
RADS are usually 5 days a week
chemo is normally once every 3 weeks

so it can seriously mount up and I'd never even thought about that....

There's been lots of stuff on the tv news about parking at hospitals, Taxi, down here anyway, people are really up in arms about it - I think hospitals are re-thinking policies, even in these recessionary times. Have a nice chillax.

Must admit ,I've never heard of any parking concessions at ours but no harm in asking I guess...
