Macgirl, I read that in the paper, when she was carried out of the surgery on a stretcher, with babe in arms....the waiting patients gave her a round of applause :rotfl:

Taxi, I'm in work all week, so don't worry about when or if.

Thanks I will be popping in..am awaiting a phone call from BCN to say when I'm having op.....and also waiting for appointments for scans to drop through door plus loads of phone calls to make re other stuff...so after tomorrow should know where I'm up to.
  • Taxi I'm so glad you got sorted with your hospital gear from Marisota, its good to take the hassle out of the small stuff and feel in control. I hope you managed to get the button up pjs that you wanted but remember that some of them are only 'mock' buttons so you might want to check you got the actual ones you need.

Glad you get the PJs sorted nice to feel comfortable when you are in hospital and as you say much easier for drips etc. Dressing gown sounds lovely I find them hard to get too using an old one of OHs at the moment but it is too small which is a bit of a problem now DDs partner lives here:eek:

Will wait for the new slim me to get a new one.

OH must be worried he has gone on a diet too not very overweight just gone up a trouser size round his waist but he has already lost a few pounds he generally eats healthily but hates waste and tends to clear the kids plates so I have pointed out to him that this is realy not necessary :)

Hope you get your appointments sorted soon I am determined to come visit :)

Phew found them again snd they are real button ups.

I really must get into shopping again as I do not buy much for myself and usually just go to Evans..I didn't realise that there are so many places to buy online and I never buy myself anything because outsize clothes are normally horrible.

I agree I need to know where I'm up to appointment wise and when DH is working etc etc to be able to plan seeing people etc...

Feel like a prisoner some days.
  • Oh good, sorry if I caused you a moment of stress there but I would hate for them to arrive and not be suitable and then you have to start returning etc..

Thanks KM...no worries...just glad you posted the link(it was you wasn't it?)..thanks....Quidco has tracked as well.

I would have really struggled to find something if it wasn't for my wonderful friends on here. You saved me loads of stress.
  • Yes it was me Taxi but I didn't realise they were on Quidco..bonus!

I know you have Evans vouchers and maybe they can be used online if there is a code? Maybe looking on line would be more convenient? Do you need an outfit to travel to and from hospital that will be comfortable and easy to change into if you are sore? Its really easy for me to tempt people to treat themselves lol

That's a good idea KM...Evans don't take vouchers on line but when I get chance I'm going to pop into town to have a look and treat myself with my vouchers...think I've got about £100 left...maybe £130.
Once they've gone I think I'll be buying most stuff online whilst I'm still big and when I lose weight I'll be buying from normal shops probably.
  • lovely story about the baby - but eek! I'm 42 and have 2 pretty much grown sons and so fertility wasn't an issue here either. We were just talking about contraception and maybe not needing it but definite second thoughts now,:rotfl:
