If it should be that I grow frail and weak,

For this, the last battle, can't be won.

We have had so many happy years,
You wouldn't want me to suffer so.

Take me to where to my needs they'll tend,

Although my tail its last has waved,
From pain and suffering I have been saved.

Thinking of both my cats, but especially my little black and white one, Jess, who I held eye contact with as she slipped away... when I pay attention to it, the grief is still there.

Hugs Taxi - sorry to hear your news - we've only had the Furry Dragon 6 months and already I would be devastated if anything happened to him. You gave him a wonderful life though and that is a really nice thing to have done.

I've paid the vets bill and he credited £38.99 for the tablets that I gave him back.
It was definitely the right thing to do but am missing him.
