Take care in the ice Taxi - like you say not worth the risk. I've not driven since we broke up before Christmas and quite frankly dreading it as I'm not keen under normal circumstances.
My heads all over at the moment - even washed my trousers with my hearing aids in the pocket this morning!!!! - so not sure if I'm up to concentrating on icy roads - might get dh to drop me and bus it home - till I've got the 1st day back under my belt.
I'm well impressed with your debtbusting figures - lets hope the ice thaws then you can keep the momentum going!!

It's annoying that the income has to fall because of the weather Taxi but better safe than sorry really. It's so lethal out there at the moment I wish I didn;t have to go out in the car to be honest.
I was out yesterday - proceeded oh-so-slowly round a roundabout and then watched in the RV mirror as the car behind me slid round in a full circle on the ice!
At least you have the safety net there with the mortage money, galling as it is to have to break into it.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

HI ALL,
Ice seems to be starting to thaw a little so hopefully may be gone by the end of the week..fingers crossed.
I advice anyone not to drive as it's not worth it.Many of our cab drivers are refusing to drive having carried out a risk assesssment it's not worth it.
Nowadays customers would sue if they fell getting into or out of the cab even though it wouldn't be our fault but the weather...
Nothing to report as such but am really bored.0 -
Taxi, do you have any moneymaking schemes you can do in the meantime? Practising matched betting? Any ebay listing to be done? gl gl gl2023: the year I get to buy a car0
-
No moneymaking schemes at the moment but am not too worried by it.It's just annoying not going to work when I have plans to debtbust...it will all work out in the end though.0
