Taxis back to basics...debt and mortgage free before 50(feb 2014)

Thanks for your concern everyone..feeling a bit better today.
The inhalers are doing their job and I can walk a little on my foot but not fully weight bearing.
Hopefully it will be even better tomorrow.
DH had a couple of very tiny wins today so played those through but nothing more.

On the MSE front I am looking forward to updating sig today as I paid £300 off DHs Halifax card...I paid £1375 off Virgin and I have the staement for DHs BMI card so a bit more to come off..and best of all I have my up to date mortgage figure of £43722.78 so once I take savings off will be very closeto £40k....

DH was talking earlier about my 50th and also about the slap up meal and champagne we'll be having when debt/mortgage free....

Just done my sig and am pretty chuffed with myself as it only last week that I was saying can't wait to owe less that £80 k....
Figures today (for future reference)....03/12/09
Total debt (inc savings) and incl mortgage......£77431.59

Total mortgage debt (inc savings)......£40492.78

So am pretty happy with that and will be interesting to see what it is this time next year.

Waitinf for £200 to go into DHS account and then I can pay another £200 off virgin.
Something wrong with my space bar...have to keep pressing it at least twice to make it move.

LOL...finished ages ago...I don't have to get the shopping in either the kids are doing christmas day down the road...so all I have to do now is make money.

Thanks you two...I was quite chuffed with myself.I only wish I could pay that much every month.I'll just do what I can when I can and that's all I can do.
