I haven't took pain killers yet but will be doing shortly.
While my foot is on the couch not moving it doesn't hurt too much but if I try to wiggle my toes it really hurts bad!!!
Also if I stand on it it hurts..it took me ages to go to the loo earlier..i had to come down stairs on my bum...lol

Was yours broke LT?...I thought maybe mine wasn't as I can sort of stand slightly.
If no improvement in the morning I may go to A+E

Hope your foot is soon feeling better Taxi - remember:
    Rest
    Ice
    Compression
    Elevation.

And if it's no better in 24 hours get yourself along for an xray - it'll set your mind at rest if nothing else.

Marvelous bingo wins though - seems to have dried up for me so I need a new strategy I think.

Blimey taxi, that sounds broken..... sorry to hear that.

Great news on OH's wins! So Hypno was right, you have fantastic luck on the bingo - I'm glad you've had something to offset that level of pain.

And of course we missed you! I've been struggling, as you know, health wise, so haven't been on the threads, but I noticed, believe me.....

i've a lump left on one of them which is where i think the bones didn't set properly, and bad hips/lower back where i walked on the outside edges of my feet for so long. My feet turned black and i used to cry with the pain but i still went to work every day and tried to pretend things were fine. My dr didn't even take my socks off when i went to see him. don't make my mistake go to a& e. i was living alone so didn't go cos i couldn't see how i could do everything with a pot on my feet

Thanks everyone...will see how it is in the morning...it is the outside of my foot that I went over onand luckily a car broke my fall at the time...i felt sick with the pain straight away...it's my shorter leg as well where if i have nothing on my feet I walk on the side of my foot.
it's painful all along the bones on the outside and if i try to bend my toes and if i put my foot fully on the floor
  • It sounds more sprained I think Taxi - but even a sprain can be really nasty and it might be you need crutches for a week or so to ensure you do keep the weight off it.

LT you poor thing - that's downright apalling of your doctors!

Just been over to yours...off my head now ..lol
  • Might be worth looking out an extra pillow to stick your foot up on in bed Taxi - might reduce any tendancy to swell overnight. I'll cross my fingers it's far better in the morning.
