    Morning everyone :hello:

    It's been scarily stormy here for the past 24 hours and there is a fair bit of damage in the garden icon9.gif. My clematis arch has been blown to smithereens and all the baskets and windowboxes are looking the worse for wear. :rolleyes: It hasn't calmed down yet so I'm not risking going out to fix it all yet.
    Had a successful trip to the Yard sale yesterday. The girls got lots of old disney videos, a beautiful writing set, OH got a brand new ski jacket and I got a vintage tala measuring jug, old cream earthenware milk jug, a huge glass wasp catcher, lots of vintage tins (which I collect) and some enamel ware. All for under a tenner. :D
    OH surprised us all with lunch at our favourite Italian place by the sea and we stuffed ourselves so tea ended up being cold meat salad.
    Tonight will probably be fajitas as I wasn't sure enough of our plans to get a roast in.
    The girls want to go bowling but it's a 100 mile round trip that I don't feel up to so not sure what will happen. I may stay home and sort the garden and catch up on some mending.

    Welcome to Dizzybuff :hello;
    Good news Mioliere.... Keep us posted. x

    Hi everyone and thank you so much for all your good wishes. No more news yet apart from the fact that DIL has been moved to the labour ward 'as a precaution' because she had a slight bleed. They were hoping for a water birth but that won't be happening now because of the bleed. She's in good hands - the local maternity hospital there is very good. I'll keep you posted as soon as I have any news. We leave for the UK at 10.30 tomorrow to drive to Caen for the 5pm sailing - it may be a long night for DS2, DIL and the rest of us!

    Hi all

    Not very OS at the mo but still read the daily and keep up with you all, hence just popping on to send best wishes to Moliere and her family. Have a safe journey and enjoy your new grandchild when he/she arrives. Let's hope it's not too long a labour for your DIL.

    Hugs to all xxxxxx
