Cranky - thanks but no thanks. I already have two early risers of my own. I definately don't need a third!
helyg - never thought to ask them to get them from the other library. Perhaps if I spot something that the central library has I can try it then.I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

Good morning all!
Very peaceful here as ds is fast asleep and girls are sleeping at a friend's house! Need to get on and sort out cleaning the kitchen and hoovering, then off to collect girls, then me and oh are off to pick me up another freezer! His step sis is getting rid of her almost new upright freezer as she is having her kitchen refitted and if I don't take it then she was planning on sending it to the tip!!!! Anyway ds will be clearing a space in the garage for it, so I will then have a meat freezer, a veg freezer and the new one for ready meals, nice and simple for the kids to grab stuff then when I'm at work! OH thinks me and my freezer obsession is bonkers, but he does appreciate that I use them and there is always something to eat!
Anyway have a good day all xxGC Oct £387.69/£400, GC Nov £312.58/£400, GC Dec £111.87/£4000 -
Just popping in to say that DS2 has just phoned to say that DIL is in labour! We are getting organised to sail back tomorrow, so I'll have the rest of the day to keep you all posted.
I haven't had chance to read the thread so far today but will catch up later when I've calmed down a bit!
Have a great day.

Cranky: I hate to break it to you but school doesn't necessarily stop them getting up early... My 5 and nearly 7 year olds are usually up by 6am (I know that is better than 5am, but still...) and have eaten 2 breakfasts (one at home and one at school breakfastclub) before the school day starts. They then go on to have 2 full cooked dinners, one in school and one at home, and would still empty a well stocked cupboard of snacks given half a chance. Oh and they are both skinny as rakes, in fact the 5 year old is under the paediatrician due to growth problems. My 3 year old eats slightly less, in fact I always think she is a small eater, but I think I am comparing her to her brothers rather than "normal" children as she seems to eat far more than her friends! Never mind, I suppose I would moan more if they ate nothing and weren't full of energy!0

Morning all,
Am envious of all those growing stuff as I do not have a garden. Tried growing tomatoes last year and ended up with one tomatoe. I have a chilli plant on the window sill but alas no chillies!! Oh well lets see what happens.
Warm day here but no sun yet so housework then will go for a walk not very exciting but work is so stressful I cannot seem to motivate myself at the weekend. Still got a couple of days off this week so may be able to shake myself out of it.
Enjoy your Sundays everyone. All my views are just that and do not constitute legal advice in any way, shape or form.£2.00 savers club - £20.00 saved and banked (got a £2.00 pig and not counted the rest)Joined Store Cupboard Challenge]0 -
oooooh Mioliere - how exciting
Cranky40 - no fear! I wiggled out of keeping seriously hyped up dgs for the night last night. He came with me for his first real football game and was really really good but there was a lot of half time sweeties and chocolate.
Am waiting for a call from dd(20) to say that she's ready to go to a PYO farm - it's not that far but very awkward on public transport so we are reliant on her partner for a lift.
have a good dayI'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 20080
