was that a special deal or is that for anyone?photome wrote:I got a d600 through vodafone for £15 a month with 500 x network minutes and 250 txts
Just looked on there site and for 500 mins its £35 a month on an 18 month contract or £50 a month for a 12 month contract. If you are already with them, that might be why you got that deal as I got 750 anytime xnet mins for £15 a month on o2 which is coming to an end next month.0 -
I got the deal direct from "vodafone direct sales", I rang them though as opposed to them cold calling you.
I have posted details and phone numbers on here in the past but got in trouble from the mods0 -

I see it's been relisted. And he has added the following into the description:
This phone is a Samsung D600, I have been using it for 3months, it is in good condition, with no scratches or damage to it.
I wonder what happened to the winner

Carrie
Yeah I am very mature
, meet me and you'll see i am a pain in the !!!!!!, im even admitting to it, gosh. That guy got £137 for his d600 but didint sell, maybe the winning bidder was a timewaster or something and do you think I should bid on it still? actually forget it.
Ebay is overpriced and over-rated, its good to sell I say, for osmeone like me phones, electrical goods etc can be found cheaper in shops and I mostly know people who are selling stuff cheap (Before you say, NOT stolen!!!
), hence, the reason I am not likely to buy from ebay. Dont get me wrong, there are good deals going on but I think You'de have to be quite lucky. Depends really, for osme people an item may be a bargain and for others a bit too much, ill stop yappin now......

I've never yet met a mature 16 year old.
How is eBay overpriced when it's the bidders who are setting the price?-->♥<-- Sugar Coated Owl -->♥<--

I agree with razorbladekisses, ebay is a buyers paradise as they set the prices. A seller can list for whatever they want but if it is too expensive all they will do is continue to pay ebay for items that don't sell and will eventually give up or lower their prices.
No one forces the buyer to buy, they do it of their own free will, and may it long continue on my auctions!!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. #18 Hi Lazy: re table. One of the items I put up (quite proud actually) is finishing tomorow, hopefully someone bids for a viewing: its a table. What do people do when its large items like a Dinning Table? do they bid then view? (suppose they dont like it after the viewing?)
We sold an entire dining suite -- table, six chairs and huge (!) display cabinet on eBay earlier this year. Obviously, we made it 'local collection only' but in the listing we also offered to help any prospective buyer source a carrier who could ship long distance if required. We ran the listing with eight piccies (the standard 'free' piccy allowed by eBay, plus a further seven dropped into html from Photobucket) so that bidders could have almost as good a view of the item as if they'd physically inspected it themselves. (We also offered it as available-to-view before auction end).
We had four bidders, which we thought was pretty good considering how difficult it can be to shift furniture (in every sense!) and stipulated cash on collection. We thought about asking for a deposit but then decided against it. The winning bidder turned out to live 40 miles from us and was one of the nicest eBayers we've ever dealt with: they bid, they won, and they arrived with a huge covered trailer to collect the suite three days later.
With something like this, we took the view that it was best to behave just as you would if you'd avertised in a local paper: people could come round to view and if they didn't like what they saw, fair enough. But our listing did stress that if a bid was made, it was a bid to buy -- not a bid to view!0 -
