Great idea, sometimes it's very hard to be ethical and moneysaving.Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

Brilliant idea, a very timely addiction I think as not being green costs us big money in lots of ways, being green is very MSE if not only for the "free" compost lol:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
sorry, i can't see the point of a seperate board for green issues, as these are covered in old style and various other locations already, iyswim.

to wishingonastar ...they are..but for people who wouldn't normally consider these issues they are lost if they are scattered around..
also for people who don't have timeto trawl through all the different sections to find relevant stuff.
i think green issues more than warrants its own board..much more than, say 'gambling' or 'competitions'Membre Of Teh Misspleing Culb0 -

Have just seen Starlite's post on OS board, and think that a green board would be a really good idea. It'd be nice to have a place we could check for green things easily, perhaps stuff like the best and cheapest fairtrade, times and dates of farmers markets and links to sites - great for when away from home, info about recycling and different schemes that exist, the ideas are endless.
A green board would have my support - great idea!GC Oct £387.69/£400, GC Nov £312.58/£400, GC Dec £111.87/£4000 -
I think this is a good idea. I would use it.

Agree - a green board may just encourage a few who havent thought about it to do so. Since I have been using the boards I have picked up a lot of tips and ideas but thats been with loads of hunting through threads. If everything of relevence was in one place I may well be encouraged to do more0
