Call me old cynic, but I can't believe Ebico was set up for the convenience of anyone but the people who set it up.
Whoever is behind Ebico, perhaps Southern Electric, is just trying to enlarge a niche market by appealing to "the common good" and " the same fair price to all". Bull!!!!.
Business is business.Investors need a return and consumers will always shop around.

I am somewhat jaded in my toughts too, having worked in banking and as an early retirement job the revenue. However I will hold Ebico as an honest ethical institurion until proven otherwise. Whether they are at arms length yo Southern and other SSE companies whose services they use, it remains a fact that if the SSE companies no longer think that Ebico business is of sufficient benefit to them, the relationship will be renegotiated or terminated. Folks, that's business, and you would be the same, if push came to shove, in your affairs.

I agree. As long as they are the cheapest (or one of the cheapest) I will use them. If they ever started to price themselves out of the market, I would switch without hesitation.:o
