What the blimmin eck does you council tax go for?????Just call me Nodwah the thread killer0 -
What really annoys me is our local council charges for the collection of green waste - (OK they actually charge for a sack, £35 for the first & 17.50 for each additional one, and they replace them free), then they sell the compost! What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0

Fareham gave us 3 big green bags to help save the planet
Then they said too many people were using them so they now only collect 1 every two weeks.
Its free but tend to either have loads of garden waste to get rid of or none at all. Tend to take it to the skip and leave it to the nice polish chaps to sort out.0 -

East Hants is £25 per year for first green bag, £12.50 each for extra bags, have to buy a large green woven bag at £5 to start off. Fortnightly collection
Then they recycle as Pro grow and charge us for it
I started off using when it was £12 per year, but as it crept up I stopped, for my small amount it would be cheaper to take a taxi to the tip, I now just save it up & drop it off at tip when I go to Waterlooville on other businessWhen an eel bites your bum, that's a Moray0 -

£66 here on the South Coast for fortnightly brown box collections. Did tip trips for years and, as far as I'm concerned, it's money well spent as once a job's done it's done and I don't have the palavar of getting a hippo bag into a small car and queuing at the tip.
