I have a lovely shower curtain that I got from Lakeland ages ago. It's beginning to look s little tired. Anyone know how I can clean it? Wiping clean no longer works.

You can actually machine wash them, use biological powder though. Other than that fill the bath with medium hot water add biological powder and soak in there for about an hour and then rinse - job done.Cat, Dogs and the Horses are our fag and beer money

i shove mine in the bath with a squirt of bleach. bit then again it's white and cheap, i wouldn't care if it got damaged.Opinion on everything, knowledge of nothing.0

Does it have a care label? some of the really cheap shower curtains can't be machine washed, but I'd imagine a lakeland one would go in the machine no problem.0

Hi,
and if it comes out in tatters, Lidl have cheapies from tomorrow, £4.99, and machine washable.0 -
Mine looks like fabric, rather than plastic and I've realised that it's only properly waterproof if I iron it after machine washing. (Must fuse the fibres or something!) I know when it needs redone as it starts to get wet and marked at the bottom.:o
Might be worth checking out the care label.:)The beautiful thing about learning is nobody can take it away from you.
Thanks to everyone who contributes to this wonderful forum. I'm very grateful for the guidance and friendliness that I always receive from you.
