I think id just buy a new one. They only cost 80p from ikea!
Sorry, i know that probably wasnt very helpful! :rolleyes:What matters most is how well you walk through the fire0 -
Previously I have bunged it in the washing machine with biological washing powder and a hand towel and this worked rather well.
Good luck!Whether you think you can or you can’t, you’re probably right ~ Henry Ford0 -
Mine goes in the machine at 60 degrees with some biological powder and a cup of vanish (the one in the pink tub). Does the job.0

definitely washing machine! Then just hang it back up to dry. Put in some fabric softener so it smells good too.Lynzie Lou :dance:0

I wash ours with the stuff that I use to wash cloth nappies, but if you don't have any already then buying some would probably cost more than a new one from ikea...0

That was going to be my advice as well:rotfl:.0 -
We had a clear shower curtain when I was renting a house last year, used Smart Price thin bleach and left it on for a while and that worked well. Think thats only 19p so cheaper than a new curtain from Ikea and can be used for other cleaning too! Very MSE!!0

Not very green to throw it - I stuck mine in the washing machine on 30min cold wash with no detergent - it was a prezzie from someone from ThinkGeek (periodic table one) so didn't want to throw it. Came out sparkly and fresh smelling.Tim0

Did this just yesterday - 40 degree/ 20min wash, small ammount detergent and small ammount bleech.
Hung it back up to dry - worked a dream.Scrappie
