Just wondered if anyone could point me in the right direction of how to clean this up a wee bit?
washed it today & one is still quite yucky.
They are used in a walk in shower & are extra long so very expensive to buy & difficult to track down.
Thanks if anyone can suggest aqnything.

You need to steam clean it. See if you can borrow someones wall paper remover (steam). Otherwise get one from Argos, use it, then take it back under their refund policy ;)

I don't know if Glo-White net curtain whitener would do the trick
Might be worth a try if all else fails.

  • My shower curtain got manky (white fabric one) so i washed it and it still had the orange tinge to the bottom  so i washed it again on 40oC with no powder but a good capfull bleach. It came out fantastic :jand i hung it back up to dry. I then did put my white towels through the wash so the bleach didnt have a chance to affect colours ;).

    HTH

PS it did say i could wash the curtain on it at 40oc then a cool iron to "re-activate" the waterproofisity (havent bothered to do this and it doesnt seem to be a problem)

    Hi beanielou,

There's an older thread on this that may help so I've merged your thread with it to keep all the suggestions together. This other thread may help too:

    Hi,

I'm sure I saw the way to do this somewhere here, but can't find it.
What's the easiest way to get a manky white shower curtain back to it's former glory?

    Thanks.
