Both are full Akitas. male is american blood though and both of them were depressed when the pics were taken as we were camping and they hate midges lol lol Thats why their tails are down, and they look long in the face.

Finally.....I can come off the top of the list. I must have stayed there for longer than anyone else ever in the history of this thread.

Dylan James Gaze Rees was born at exactly 11.11am on 11 September weighing 8lb 6oz. It was a rollercoaster ride to get him here - I was rushed to hospital in an ambulance in the middle of the night way back on 4 September after having been diagnosed with suspected pre-eclampsia and then having a massive reaction to the prescribed drugs. I never actually left the hospital after that until this Sunday! To be honest a lot of it is a blur, particularly the two days leading up to him finally arriving. I'm piecing together (with a lot of tears) everything that happened but the whole thing was very traumatic. I'll get it together soon to write a proper birth story for the other thread but basically I had two failed inductions before ending up with an emergency c-section in horrible circumstances. It was about as far from my planned home birth with pool as it could possibly get.

Now home and very sore and washed out feeling from everything, but at the centre of it all is this amazing, perfect little brand new person. We have been very indulgent and set up his own website so family miles away can look at him so there are a few photos here if anyone wants to marvel at his gorgeousness with me! www.dylanrees.co.uk
First baby (a boy) due 03.09.09 - eeeeeeeeekkkkk!
