  • Congratulations 32B- how exciting to be so far along. Glad you got to speak to someone sensible today!

Just back from the Asda Baby Event- got two big boxes of nappies for £18 plus I had a £2 Pampers coupon so used that. Also got a baby bath, a cheap bouncer for Grandparents house and some feeding spoons.

I am so addicted to pineapple juice at the moment- I can't get enough of it over ice!!! There are worse things to crave I suppose.

    Curry was lovely BTW

  • Ive just finished my curry, it was a chicken balti from the deli in asda with a garlic nan and I cooked my own rice (I really don't like the rice that they do in any of the shops)

Glam - Jack looks so cute in those pics you posted, and so tiny, think its the socks lol.

Well done to all those non smokers and the money you've saved :D

I know there was some other posts I wanted to reply to but my memory seems shot to pieces lol. Got my 16 week MW appointment tomorrow, am trying to think of Qs I should ask.

Good luck and lots of easy labour vibes to those who need it. Day off tomorrow so will be checking in regularly for updates hehe.

Madwoman - (think it was you) I might be able to get you a replacement part for your moses basket, is it just the screw and wing nut type thingy you broke?

    Hello everyone.

I had internet problems this morning and been out all day so just back. Apologies for not logging on earlier.

Not got much to report. My old problems of extreme pain across my bump returned around dinner time yesterday and I spent the night making myself sick to ease it. Hadn’t had this since I got my prescription for heartburn last week, so not sure if it’s related to that or not. Anyway, didn’t really want to spend the day on my own just in case it got worse so ended up at my mum’s today since DH was at work. Been feeling a bit sicky all day.

Went to Asda and bought a breast pump, and then I met a friend for dinner tonight. Got home about half an hour ago and had a quick catch up.
Since coming home though, I have had my “show” so that’s promising at least!! :T
No contractions yet, and I seem to be like ML in that I am not sure if my waters have gone. I don’t think they have but my bump seems much more squishy and my pad is a bit damp. Will wait and see what happens.

Three – congratulations! Can’t believe how far along you are!
Jam/ML/Jillie – good luck with impending births. Hope you are all doing well.
Thanks to everyone who was asking after me – and sorry again for going missing!

I think it's because down here, if you're having the Nuchal test thingy, you're refered to a private scan place so with the amount of money they charge for their scans they must have better equipment lol

Thats where i had mine :)
I have to go to QA for my 20week scan, which is in 5 weeks! eek!!

The pics there are £3 each :(

    Lovely pic though!

32b - 20 weeks!!! :D Wow!! Glad you finally have your date finally :) and a boy, wow :) Congrats :D

Meh, mum kicked my younger sister out earlier, she's 17. So she's staying here until the council can hopefully find her a place in a hostel or we find her a room in a shared house

Im off to read for the evening :) Have been readin the 'house of night' series, a girl at work has been lending me them as im addicted to them :D

    Take care x

I am hoping it has worked. She said within 48 hours hopefully so still within the timeframe! Still no contractions though. I get tightenings, but sure it's just baby moving about. It was struggling like mad last night, punching and squirming so think it does want to make an appearance soon!

Even if I need to go to hospital in the middle of the night, I shall log on and leave a message so you know before I go (unless web dies again). Nothing planned for tomorrow so if i am still here, I will no doubt be on as just hanging around the house.
