oooh, back to my earlier question, just found a neat little calculator that gives your different calorie requirements in each trimester based on your pre-pregnancy weight.

hope it's of interest to someone other than me! :rotfl:

  • Update: have spoken to CMW and she's sent me to hospital to check out the fluids... just waiting for Dh to get home and then we're off (this is not to the local hospital but to the one we were booked into as 2nd choice after HB). It's 45 mins away and we need to make it by 8 eek!

Had a half-heartedly packed hospital bag do just doing the job properly now :D

Hopefully they won't keep us in and all will be fine...

ML - don't forget ur pads! I took mine out of my bag when the MW told me to put one in at home and go in so when I got there I had no pads to change into! Had to get some from the hospital as the only spares I had were in the car!

    Good luck

Oh dear, my sister isn't speaking to me

I saw her at the school and she's had the 4 yo's ears pierced. Well i have to say i couldn't hide my disgust very well and said "omg why did you do that"

Her reply? "She wanted it done"

    Ummm.... she's FOUR

beenie - that is shocking, god could u imagine if kids got EVERYTHING they asked for at 4. I personally hate pierced ears on little ones but thats my opinion.
