Oooh Kindof you're allowed to do slimming world? I just did one of those weight gain in pregnancy calculators that go by your height/weight and it suggested between 1 and 1 & a half stone for me, which I'd be happy with. I've not really been worried about it as I figured as long as I don't overeat I'd be fine but OH got me thinking as he works with a girl who's almost exactly the same weeks as us and he overheard her saying she's put on a stone already so automatically thought I must not eat when he's not around or something!!
Yeah and its free yay lol, I dont know if thats cos I have been going for a certain amount of time before I conceived?
And I think all I have to do it get midwife to sign a form?
Ohhh where is this calc thing? can you post a link please? I havent been to SW for two weeks so I am not 100% sure how much I have gained lol, erm I think it went 4.5, 4, 2.5 then I havent been, so thats 11 pound, but I will have gained more the last 13 weeks I havent been
But now I know I can go for free, I am hoping I can focus and not gain anymore in the near future if taht makes sense?Debt £30,823.48/£44,856.56 ~ 06/02/21 - 31.28% Paid OffMortgage (01/04/09 - 01/07/39)

yeah she hasn't been on since Monday which is a little unusual for her. I hope everything's ok with her sis and her benefit problem.....really not been having any luck lately has she, so hope it's a positive reason for her not logging on.0 -
p.s. would it be wrong to have some Ben & Jerry's cherry garcia for lunch?

lou - I used to be addicated to Shakeaway when I lived down in Kingston!! They are FAB. Not MSE at all (unless you get a frequent visitor's card, LOL), but sooooooo scrummy yummy. Our closest one now is Croydon, I believe - they've really expanded since I was a loyal customer back in 2005
. My fav flavors are blackcurrant cheesecake; carrot cake (sooo good in winter); Nutella; Ferrero Rocher, but I've tried like a million other ones as well. You're evil, now I *REALLY* want a milkshake...closest thing near is a Crussh, but smoothie is too healthy for my cravings :EasterBun

Ive got a friend coming over with her little boy to play with ds in a mo she hasn't been to my house before but i have been to hers and although she has 2 boys under 4 her house is spotless so me and hubby did a mega clean on monday then i have had to do a mini one this morn but it has took me all morning! i have one messy boy. I just can't keep up with all the toys washing, pots dust it's endless how am i going to cope when theres two of them.
I have had a mega preggy brain i can't believe i have done this but i recently sold an item of which i have two of. i currently use 1 of said item but have no need for the other as it is the same and brand new in packaging. Well i opened it all up for the pic but didn't put it back until after i was ready to post it. Big mistake! I don't quite know how i have done it but i have packaged up mine and sent it. I have been using this item for the last few years:eek:Although it is in fantastic condtion so they may or may not tell. I don't know what to do. I found the new one today in the spare room. Do i tell them? get them to send it back and i then can post the new one? I will be majorly out of pocket with the postage but it is my fault. What a silly mooThis is my signature!0 -
Oooh, Lou, I have never heard of Shakeaway. They don't seem to have any in Scotland, but now I want to drive down to Durham when the shop opens there to try one! I don't know of any milkshake type shops up here actually.
Ladies, please don't get too hung up on weight gain. I hate when pregnant women get obsessed with weight (not that I think anyone here is obsessed!). But everyone is different and any calculators are only a guide. If there are any concerns either way, your midwife will say to you I am sure. Enjoy your pregnancy whilst you can and eat what you want but sensibly. I put on a good few pounds in the first trimester, but I also had a lot of swelling, so I take it that a lot of it was water retention. From behind I don't look any different as bump is all at the front, but I have put on a good 2.5-3 stone.
Hope three2be is ok. I had noticed she hadn't been on (although she had been a bit quieter in general in the past week - not posting as often).
I went back to bed earlier! Was up until about 3am then back up at 7am so since today is my quiet day of the week, I went back for a wee snooze. Going for a shower now and then just going to take it easy this afternoon. Although Murder She Wrote doesn't seem to be on in the afternoon anymore so don't know what trash I can watch on TV!

Elasti - don't worry about your house! You are pregnant so shouldn't be overdoing in and if she is your friend, she will not judge you. As long as it's cleanish! And people shouldn't have immaculate houses if they have kids in my opinion. Kids need to play and be kids! Maybe her house is normally a tip, and she just spends hours tidying before you come too, lol. She might be glad to see yours isn't perfect and let her relax!
Re. Ebay, not sure what you should do. If you sold it as brand new, it seems false to not say anything, but if it looks new and they haven't said anything, then you might get away with it. I would probably be tempted to contact them and see if they are satisfied with the purchase to avoid negative feedback, but not sure as I don't really use Ebay (DH has an Ebay shop and I think he would do that rather than risk negative feedback).0
