Sending you and zgaze big labour vibes - can't believe people can keep up and not post, I'm faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar too chatty!!!
OMG, if you're going in on Monday then I'll be near the top of that list anytime soon. OK, getting slightly worried now
Just found a free ASDA delivery code - OH and I have decided that what cupboard stuff we don't get from LIDL (if he ever gets out to get a paper ) we will order from ASDA. It's only 2 mins away but we plan to stock up on things like sparkling water, tins, fruit juice, biscuits, rice, pasta etc so will get all the heavy stuff delivered and then I'll go and get my own meat.
We have decided to try and do a monthly shop when bubs arrives and then just go weekly for bread, milk and fruit.A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
Where does the time go? :think:0 -
All labour vibes sent this way will be returned until after the 1st September...I've come this far, I'm determined I'm going to hold on until after then to get him in the next school year!! I'll forward my vibes straight on to aylesburygirl, she needs them more.
Its funny - even though I haven't posted very much, because I have kept up with the thread since January, I feel like I do know you all and half the people on the Parent thread really well! Weird.First baby (a boy) due 03.09.09 - eeeeeeeeekkkkk!0 -
SJ - I think it's 10-20 mins... there are some articles you can read on line on the subject. Main pro seems to be continued supply of oxygenated blood and higher iron stores for bubs, main con seems to be higher risk of jaundice. On balance I still think am going for delayed clamping... of course, cord may be too short to allow skin to skin so may need to be cut straight away anyway....MFW Challenge member no. 96 - on hold!
Girl Cub due 14th September0 -
Glam - nope, I don't come home til Monday morning.
aylesburygirl - good luck!!
Aww, I'm a bit jealous of all you starting your ML today...I've had 2 weeks off, granted, but have to go back to the grind on Tuesday!top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne

Consider them directed to Aylesbury girl!!
My OH is adamant baby not coming until after 1st Sept 'He's got to be the oldest in the year' - actually asked him to stop going on about it so much cos he was making me paranoid that baby was going to come any minute!
This is why I'm doing shopping lists and other boring things until 1st Sept when I will finish off the bigger more manual jobs!! Don't want to bring labour on for any reason!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

I would never even have thought about the whole school year thing, but when we announced the pregnancy/due date it was the very first thing both my boyfriends sister and mother said! They are both primary school teachers so have experience of it directly I suppose. They both said the youngest and littlest boys in the year get bullied and struggle to keep up. Means the pressure is on me this weekend to keep my legs crossed and not set anything off!
He's only 4/5 engaged (i.e. only 1/5 head in the pelvis) and is still very wriggly so hopefully that means nothing is imminent, no sign of any nesting instincts or obsessive cleaning from me either hahahaFirst baby (a boy) due 03.09.09 - eeeeeeeeekkkkk!0 -
It still feels like i'm at the bottom of the list in a way cos the 2010 list makes it look deceiving!!0
