Main pro seems to be continued supply of oxygenated blood and higher iron stores for bubs, main con seems to be higher risk of jaundice. I was going to say 1-2 mins but might be wrong! And does the placenta usually take around 30 mins to come out? I remember someone saying they were going to use their own tie to tie the cord - something nice instead of the plastic ones they use in hospital which sounds a nice idea but now I'm not so sure.Mum to DD born Oct 2009

the past few years we have had halloween party/bonfire and had our friends and their kids round. not sure bout this year though. thought it might be too soon after baby born, especially if its closer to oct when they are born

I do like some of the wee Christmas outfits. SIL has bought the baby a novelty outfit - it's a big green frog from Asda (complete with webbed feet!!). Apologies if anyone else has it, but it's not my taste, although DH likes it (although I think it's only coz his sister bought it, he would not pick it himself).
Oh dear....yup, got that one too. And a duck one with webbed feet and a moocow one (with tail) from the same range! My poor unborn child :rotfl:First baby (a boy) due 03.09.09 - eeeeeeeeekkkkk!0 -
