I'm wondering if the birth bag is any better ? The one i got with my other two came with a complete pack of wipes and the storage box to put them in very usefull as you cant seem to get the boxes any more .

The little minature dettol sprays are usefull if you get one i kept the bottle to carry in my nappy bag and always give the surface a quick spritz in the public changing rooms

Yep - apparently indigestion is much better. Which is strange because it's supposed to thin the cervix.

I personally can't stand them but for the sake of not being induced I'll endure it ;) Rather that than have sperm floating in my tea (grr only had 1 mug so far!)

We'll get shut down with all this talk :rotfl:

Hi everyone! Had a really good day today :D

Went to a carboot sale, its the last one of summer. And got some bargins!
    • Grobag £2
    • Maternity Cardigan (next one) £2.50
    • 2 Dr Miriam Stoppard books £3
And what makes it better is that OH paid for it all so it was free for me :money:
Then we went down the bandstand and watched some Ska bands for a few hours. I am now very sunburnt, even though i used tons of sun cream.
It looks like i have racing stripes :rotfl:

Had another McDonalds  But i feel terrible, its the 2nd time McDonalds has made me feel sick so i might have to stop having it! :p

If you do a quick serch on ebay or amazon for self adhesive bras their are loads of different styles that would be suitable for wearing with your pads after birth most are washable and reusable so the sticky must be good. HTH

Thank you so much i could remember reading it just not who wrote it. Dam my forget full head.

Thank for this! Im not to sure if i could get them, when i've seen them before they only go upto a 'C' cup. And i was a 'DD' pre pregnancy

anyone watch Michael McIntyre last night?
    He is soooooooooooooooo funny :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

He was talking about his wife being overdue with their son and was saying that she went off to research inducing labour. She came back and said to him that RLT and indigesting sperm was the way to go so he got all excited and then she asked him to w a n k in to the tea as she wasn't up to giving him a b l o w job!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Very funny but now OH has said 'Oh yeah I forgot that you said indigestion was better - woo hoo'
I watched this! My favourite bit was when he said he told that old lady his sons name was Adolf. And then he learnt to say 'Juice' But pronounced it 'Jews' and he was worried about bumping into the old lady with his son saying "No Jews" :rotfl:

Argh! I want some coco pops, but we only have a little bit of milk left. Which means if i have coco pops now i cant have them in the morning before going back to work.

Might have to make do with scrambled egg :)

Beanie I think you are doing the right thing, I won't go into too much detail - but I made my hubby work for me before we settled down together. If he hadn't managed it I would have walked away - I needed more from my life than what he was giving me at the time. If he is worth it he will try, if he isn't then you do deserve better. I know it's more complicated with children but don't shortchange yourself - I hope things work out well.

On the bounty packs thing - I got a few free samples - anti bac spray, sudocreme that sot of thing, a coupon for 24 pack of newborn huggies nappies and a token that means when boots sends me the voucher if I buy one pack of pampers nappies I'll get a free changing bag worth £29.99. I figure that's not too bad.

I'm hoping those disposables will last me a little time (and if I have to go to hospital will be brill for hospital). I want to use real nappies - I'm youngish and idealistic - but not stupid!

I'd heard bamboo squares instead of cotton muslin can be better, more absorbant (yes less chemicals and more eco friendly if you care) dry faster - but i think they may be more expensive. i've not really started checking that out much yet.

Though my friend with two kids delighted in telling me which pads I want for after the birth - which ones were better/cheaper ect. Nice - couldn't we just stick with car seats for now I'd like not to think about the massacre that's going to go on down there just yet (especially with the lovelly phrase from the HMS site running through my head - 'prone to rapid labour and TISSUE DAMAGE')
