Operation Get Out of Debt

Well I am officially bored!! I am finding it so hard to debt bust with no money. I can't look at the spreadsheets without getting down because I cannot make any payments yet.

I feel quite lost at the moment with nothing to focus on. I am even thinking of finishing maternity leave early.

HELP!!

Now we are in the swing of 2010 I am in a good position to get things moving.

I am due to finish my maternity leave next month. I have an interview for a new job though next week. The new job is better hours for my son with a very similar salary when you take into account travel and childcare costs. Fingers crossed for that next Tuesday!

Yesterday I changed our gas and electric tariff to be on a better one. We went from making an 8% to a 22% saving which is positive. Having checked the account we are now in credit which will help a lot with the winter bill that is coming.

We are shaving money off left right and centre. Our biggest let down is food and take away. Normally we would have had 2 takeaways in the last week. We had one on new years day which was our treat for the lasy few weeks of hard work my hubby did. We now have a meal plan set out for two weeks and we are sticking really well to it.

I don't think we have any renewals coming up just yet so no chance of shaving money just yet.

I do my scratchcards on the littlewoods site but are there any others?
