Beacon Mortgage Advice! Help!

Hi Sandrad,
So what were their reasons for the delay ?, we have been waiting about 6 weeks so far and still nothing !? It is so frustrating :-(
Get back soon :-)0 -
No reasons given.......... which got really really annoying.
Luckily we weren't moving house. !!! They just seem to take their time and only have limited funds that run out mid month !! I just gave up. We are very fortunate to be paying low payments on our mortgage at present hence my thoughts to wait and clear credit file ?
Keep me posted on how you get on.........0 -
Sandrad44 - Wise decision - Why oh why would a broker suggest you re-mortgage to a higher rate when your defaults will disappear in 6 months - were you rying to consolidate!0

Hi Sandrad thanks for replying,
Yes that does seem to be the case with a lot of people, we are trying to move and its so exhausting just waiting to hear anything ,they should tell you at the beginning how long it is going to take ! We just feel like giving up :-(
Will let you know how things pan out.
take care :-)
Hi Any news from anyone else today :-)0 -
no . we were not consolidating. Broker told us that due to credit report that was the only lender ?
became even more suspicious when we were approved for a £15,000 loan for hubby's 4 x 4 . got the finance no probs,
so file isn't that bad. Anything on it is nearly six years old.......
I just don't want to pay hughe fee to beacon and be tied in with a high rate .0 -
You were lucky.0

the reason the broker is pushing for a deal is not only do they get a cut of the 2700 and a broker fee if they charge 1 and they then get a further 150 slice if they refer it to b legal for the conveyancingI am NOT a mortgage advisor nor a professional in any debt related matters my replies to posts reflect my personal view only and experience in life time situations that may or may not be of any use to you if you need advice speak to a professional0 -
