  • Hi all, We are still in the beacon nightmare as our previous buyers desperately want our house and have found another buyer quickly as they put their house on cheap.
We can't get another buyer who would be quicker unless we take a price we can't afford.
  • Hi Everyone,

We are in the process of a Beacon Mortgage and have to have an audit valuation.

I had a look through this thread to try and find out what it is ?

Also after reading i can gather that it takes roughly 2 days before you find out how it went.

My question is how do you find out how it goes ? I tried to contact Beacon and they say they dont let you know ?

How have others found out how the audit valuation went and if went okay ?

    Many thanks

    Mortgage seeker
  • did everyone who was due to complete on the 3rd Nov complete today ?

or we all busy moving ?
  • Hi Security Expert did you move today ? are you going with Beacon ?

Did you have to have an audit valuation ,how long before you knew it was okay ,how did you find out it went okay ?

Everyone else, let us know how you are getting along ?

    thanks

Settled as planned......took a while but I got there, just waiting on decorators!!!!!! good luck to everyone else!!!

Also audit valuations.....mine was carried out on a Monday got the clause deleted from my mortgage offer on the Wednesday, just one last thing though, I had to also have a re-valuation as mine was out of date, Beacon's valuations only last two months.

All I can advise you to do is keep in touch with your broker and packager, mine were great and kept me in touch throughout the whole process.

    many thanks

    Well done again ,best wishes

  • Hi

Audit valuation, my borker told me that the condition had been lifted, yes I needed a further re-val after that, this was done just before completion. When are you hoping to complete. It took me about 4 and a half months.
  • Hi Carla

My broker said he doesnt get to find out, unless there is a problem,it was done last week and not heard anything :-(

Hoping to complete next week

So feel stuck at the minute

Well done again, hope your new homes is wonderful !

  • Hi

My broker def got an email saying that the clause had been lifted, they sent me a copy. Have you got everything else through from solicitors?

It does work eventually, I am proof, I had lots of sleepless nights, but I got there!!!
  • Hi Carla,

I did ask over and over, but got no where,

Have had a lot of things through from the solicitors, what ones did you have to fill in etc ,

I think we might have completed all that now

We know about the sleepless nights its awful, my nerves are shot to pieces :-)

    thank you
