No you won't..I am a loyal, discreet person. In fact she called OH @ 7am this am and he missed the call. Guessing that his name is similar to another so was in error.0 -

well trying to anyway, it's hard reading your own work and being clear headed about it.
Someone told me there was money in it
Good luck with it.

Thanks for that guys.
All I remember from the last recession is lots of people worrying about stuff and horrid headlines in the paper whilst I swanned about wondering what everyone was getting so het up about.
Then of course the property prices plunging reared their head for us at the same time as my swanning around being holier than thou and lecturing everyone else about how easy it all was came to an end.
Looking back, I was not a very sympathetic or very nice person back then...it certainly brought me down a peg or two!
Not everyone has 'their' recession at the same time as the main one.
I have found that some do well when others are struggling and vice versa.
I have had my own personal downturns when the rest of the UK was doing fan-diddly-tastically....and people think you are a right 'derrr' too.
Then everyone else has a toughy time and things tick over for us just fine.
If you function off the mainstream, stands to reason that your own personal ups and downs don't follow the mainstrean ups and downs.

It's been a drip, drip, drip downwards for months ... now I can't believe the low sums over the past two weeks. Hoping it's not me, but due to holidays ... if I've lost my magic gift I'll cry.
In fact, tonight I am staying up all night to write a book and publish it online ... I was up all night the other night too, just tweaking all the time... adding and tweaking.. with my fingers crossed.
OK I am not sure where to start with this problem.............um.............
You have fessed up on here that you tend to flit around from one thing to another. That is the sign of a creative mind..always thinking up new things etc.
You have also said that you should really develop some things already developed and work them through, fine tune etc. Also for a creative person, that's like deadly, dreary, hard hard slog. I should know.
I write in the 1st person here but I have an OH and we have worked together on and off (mostly on) for over 2 decades. He is a plodder, almost donkey like in his work approach (no wordplay pls
) which is an asset sometimes but a liability at other times.
He concentrates on the now.
I worry about 6 months time in terms of products and 'routes to market' (Jargon I know I know but no other way of describing it).
Together, we make a good team.
If it was left to me , I'd be flitting about with new ideas rather than maxing out existing ones that are selling well.
I can't offer any insight into what you do and why your income has declined so suddenly but I do know not to treat it as a blip but to try to analyse why. Once you know why (changing ways with ads, cr cr in terms of ads placed whatever) then it is 'easier' to move forward.0 -

Ha, I haven't even got that far yet!“I could see that, if not actually disgruntled, he was far from being gruntled.” - P.G. Wodehouse0
