I usually get a couple of notebook packs (usually each with 2 notebooks) each month. I've no letters to receive this week but this has happened a few times recently so hopefully not being dropped.

Hi do you get the notebooks if you are a sender or a receiver?

    Thanks

I get them as a receiver. It seems to be their way of bulking out envelopes to cover larger & heavier deliveries. The notebooks are usually 32 page A5 books. I've had mainly squared paper pages but occasionally plain pages are used.

£6 for me this month. I have loads of the notebooks but must admit not received any for a couple of months now.

I currently have 20 of the smaller booklets with puffins on the cover....and 10 larger limit books.....
I would love to do something constructive with them but the local playgroup and school have both said they have no use for them.

I'm working my way through the stockpile as shopping lists etc but it's going to take years if they keep sending them.

I last received a large book 2 weeks ago and 2 smaller ones in the same envelope last week...so they are still out and and about in postal land.

My mum uses them to put in the shoebox appeal.

I pass some of the ones I receive to the Women's Refuge in the County for any children who arrive with their mothers. My Club made up shoeboxes for all the residents at Christmas. We filled the ones ready for the Mums but sent sacks of toys, chocolates, etc which the staff used to fill the empty shoeboxes, with appropriate aged gifts for the children who were resident at that time. Everyone was happy.

Thank you all for the suggestions of what to do with the books.....I have tried the local play groups and schools but they seem disinterested...

I am not aware of any other outlets in my local area that would take them and I do not participate in the shoe box appeal.

I guess they will sit in a corner of my study next to the computer for a while longer and get periodically used for shopping lists....

although if anyone wants them it probably can be arranged.....
