Ahem
all the VERY best people are born on March 7th
:D:D, glad all went well for you, :T
Couldn't agree more :rotfl:Glad the scan went well FairyElephant
I've had a lazy day today. The kids have been at my mum's since yesterday, so it's lovely and quiet! Husband and I went to see a production of The King & I last night as we had free tickets after he helped to move parts of their set with his lorry. Tickets are normally £16.50 each so we were well chuffed! Today I've been sorting out the garden and doing a bit of online ancestor researching with one of those free trials. I have got back as far as 1599 on one side and 1600 on the other! Just got to copy it all out before the free trial ends.0 -
Hi all
Am looking forward to the weekend off after the last seven days. Just need a quick coffee and will then start sorting the washing and doing dinner - cauliflower cheese tonight.
DD1 finished her work placement today. She's really enjoyed it and it's given her a much better idea of where she would like to go career-wise after uni.
DD2 is busy packing for her holiday on Monday - a week in Majorca, and her first holiday with her boyfriend.
OH is out tonight so a quiet evening ahead so I can meal plan for next week and do a shopping list.
Pen Pin - glad you enjoyed your lunch, sounds very yummy!
Halight - hope the twins are better soon
Teresita - I'm sure ther are some threads around re: ideas for packed lunches. Hope you manage to get some rest on your holiday.
FE - glad things are going well. Pisces - couldn't be better
!
Have a lovely evening everyone

evening all!
not read the last 2 days thread so hope you're all ok, been a long 2 days at work but have got 3 days off now!:j
Am feeling rather shattered so looking forward to the weekend. Have just got my weekly shop and did my menu plan earlier in the week. I've also done the ironing and changed the bed since I got in.
I hope you all have a lovely weekend
Take care xDo what you love :happyhear0 -
Evening all.
Been MIA a bit lately, so I'm afraid I've really lost the plot with the thread
My garden however is looking better. Well in places............. some places look distinctly worse :rotfl:
I have tried to do skim reading, but the poor old brain didn't retain much. Haribo Junkie you need to clear your inbox :p:D
PP, how nice that you managed to go out for lunch, which sounded yummy. Do tell which pub it was, not many round here do anything that isn't fried with chips :rotfl: Oh and I'd love a headsup to that dry cleaner you mentioned ages ago. Thought I'd get the winter coats freshened up early this year, and that would save me heaps.
Well (((hugs)) to any that would like one, I'm off for a browse. CM xYou never get a second chance to make a first impression.0 -

Nah all the very very very best are born on the 14th. Like Albert Einstein and me for example
Well Ikea had NO Kilner type jars. And it would appear I can't order the things online either  So that means spending lots on decent tupperware. And I still have the blasted evil weevils as I saw some more lurking today. think this is going to be a running battle until they die of starvation.
Did chicken, rice, peas, spring onions, red, green & yellow peppers with some cajun seasoning and bit of soy and it was delish. Far better than a takeaway from the local chinese :T Only problem is it's made me rather thirsty so I shall probably be up all night with trips to the bathroom
I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knife

I really wanted to wish Elona a belated "Happy Birthday":bdaycake:glad that you enjoyed it, sounds as if your family really made it special.
I spent most of the morning in the garden tidying up and harvesting before w*rk today so i`m struggling for time online.
Hope that everyone is well.
