I think it depends on the breadmaker, mine has a jam setting. The jam hasn't set well so I will boil it up again. The breadmaker makes a big jar full, so it is pretty good if you are not planning to make tons.

Sticky brownie pudding sounds yummy. :p

I have been working away in the kitchen in domestic goddess/Nigella mode (without the extravagance or smouldering looks). I am now the proud owner of 2 and a half jars of bramble jelly and a big tub of tadka dal which I will use a bit like a pate. A loaf of bread is in the machine. I might even make some biscuits later!

    Too right BJ. :D

Edinburgher, I'm a bit of a geek with my folder and OH knows that he is NOT ALLOWED TO TOUCH IT. I find it is easier if he knows his place ;)

I felt at a bit of a loose end (as my SOA, letters and filing are done) so I decided to walk to the shop rather than drive. On the way back I decided to pick some blackberries to make jam (my first attempt). OH panicked that I was gone for more than an hour and drove about looking for me:naughty: - ah bless.

Used breakmaker to make jam but it is a bit runny still - tastes nice though and the fruit was free :j so not bad for DFW.

Did you tell your hubby that driving aimlessly around is not very MSE:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.

Jam sounds good only I don't eat sweet stuff:p.

I did make a lasagne today though which was quite delicious:T

I'm not sure - I think they are yellow split peas, the packet says Chana Dal. I had some for lunch today in a sarnie - very nice and quite filling.

I made some of Twink's hobnob type biscuits yesterday as well - they are really yummy (I did them with half sugar and half splenda).

On to the debt work for today. I am sending a copy of our updated SOA to the bank dealing with our hardship claim.

We also had an email from one of the councils accepting our offer - so now 2 out of the 4 have accepted. I have a sneaking suspicion that as the other two are with bailiffs it will not be so straightforward.
