That was so predictable since like a year... I ppredict now that in future will survive one big low-cost airline in Scandinavia (Norwegian), one big low cost airline in Eastern Europe (WIZZ), one big in south (Vueling) and two Europe gigants (Ryanair and easyJet). What You think?0

This is the airline's website :- SkyEuropeWhat part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0

I have flights booked with them worth 300 quid and pretty sure I will have lost all my money because I booked with a Barclays Visa Debit. I am devastated. I am particularly annoyed because I applied for Visa CC a few weeks ago but Barclays made a mistake with the application and it ever came through.0

You should be able to get your money back on a Visa debit card. They operate something called "charge back" which will give refunds in a similar way to credit-cards.What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -

Visa will indemnify you via your bank. You effectively have the same level of cover when paying by visa debit card as when paying by visa credit card.

I'm sorry, I don't apologise. That's just the way I am. Homer (Simpson)0 -
Oh awesome, thank goodness. I was panicking but hopefully, fingers crossed I might get it back.0

Not with a Visa Electron card, though. So anyone who's booked using one, please note. Sorry!0 -

Don't forget that you have what I call "second tier" low-cost airlines. I.E. those who offer numbered seats and a bit more basic service. These include Air Berlin, Jet2.com, BMI baby, FlyBE and Monarch. I would have thought that they should survive. They cater for people who don't want to be bothered with the likes of RyanairWhat part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -
Right, I'll agree with Air Berlin (thats a giant one which I missed...). I will also agree about FlyBe surviving as a carrier providing regional flights around smaller airports of British Isles. Not sure about Jet2.com, althought they grov rapidly recently. Not sure also about Monarch... if they survive competition of easyJet and Ryanair...0
