thanks for this - I too was convinced I had poor hearing but I came out within normal range - so maybe its people's accents I'm not used to - I'm foreign but have lived here for almost 10 years now and sometimes I still have to keep telling people to repeat themselves

I am sure I could not make out a lot of numbers but still the result was normal hearing.
I am going to try again n see.

Thanks i did the test and as I suspected my hearing is below normal. I think I will go and have a proper test.

I just checked mine and it was normal.
Excellent link as it is something that can deteriorate and you not be aware that it has.
I did mine on firefox with earphones and it worked fine.

i did this last year ( not sure if its the same site)and it really works went to doctors went for test now have earing aid thought i was a bit deaf in left ear was 50 percent leftear 75 precent right ear so this is a great tip mse wendy

I just did this and past the test fine--all ok.
Great site with lots of info, now need to persude an older relative to take the test. Wish me luck..
