afternoon ladies
(loving this thread by the way:T)
busy busy day today. just finished cleaning my mums house from top to bottom for her, also just cut back my grandmas bushes in her huge garden:mad: i got scratched all over. at home now about to start on my house.
im wearing, (casual/laid back today)
reebok classic trainers
boyfriend jeans
white long sleeved tee
lime green tank top.
me and OH are going out tonight as it was our 5 yr anniversary yesterday, DD is staying at nanas house. i dont know what to wear. i think we are going to either bingo or bowling first (love bingo hehe), then going to watch final destination in 3D at 10pm. we may go for a few drinks after into town.
im thinking-
leggings
zebra print halter dress with gathered neck line
black patent t bar heels
also with my black cardie,,,,,
this will be sort of casual with the cardie for bingo/bowling and cinema, but when i remove the cardie (and maybe leggings) it will be ok for going for drinks.

Juby, that sounds like a fab outfit for tonight! The leggings and cardi keep it casual but like you say, you can whip them off when you're ready to party! Hope you have a great time.
It's a day of errand running around here today... I've taken loads of stuff to the charity shop, cleaned the flat, done some food shopping and got the spare room ready for my friend who's coming to stay tonight. Phew! So it's all about comfort right now:
Leggings
Purple, yellow and grey marl jersey dress
Grey cardi
White bobby socks
Grey plimsolls
But tonight, my friend and I are going out for Thai and drinks, so I shall be wearing:
Chinese printed slash neck dress with huge tiger running across the hem (Love this! £19.99, H&M)
Black opaques
Black skinny waist belt
Unsure on shoes... maybe some bubblegum pink leather heels to draw out the pink cherry blossoms on the dress.0 -
I do like reading this thread. :-)
I'm quite a scruffy person and never know what to wear or what clothes are suitable for a particular occasion.
Anyway, today I am wearing:
Slouch jeans (£12 from Matalan)
Trainers (years old)
Green T shirt with Celtic circly design (Originally from Next but I got it 2nd hand)

I love the dry weather.
We have no mud and I did the animals in a dress and shoes and straw hat, feeling very old fashioned country housewife.
this week I have to take in to pairs of shoes to the cobbler. Oh, and I've noticed I have fallen into the habit of always doing scarves in the same way (silk rather than woolen). I've become quite lazy with accessorising, whih is a shame, and is a cheap way to change the feel or look of something.
I made a purchase of a black onyz bead stretch bracelet (I had an inherited black coral bracelet that broke on the street and I ouldn't find all the beads and I've missed it badly). I like bracelets and used to wear lots (dozens and dozens) of brightly coloured bead bracelets on my arms, but I think I'm getting to old to do that, I'm also thinking tht some things that might have been fine in my late twenties are not going to me in my early thirties, and while I don't want to dress too old for my age neither do I want to look as if I'm not growing up. I have two of the bracelets I still wear very regularly, a pearl one and a wooden one. I have all the bright beads left, but I don't wear them day in and out or as mixed up as I used to. I think what looked exuberant a couple of years a go just looks scatter brained now.
