Good I'm glad! I know my lurking friend gets a kick out of how clothes make us feel, how we dress the inner girl as well as the outer woman.
Speaking of which, we had a man at the start of the thread....where did he go?0 -
lir - love the sound of your outfit, very Fame!
Caroline - hope there's some good news soon.
pf (and others visiting Liverpool) - there's a fab allsorts shop up at the top end of town by the bombed out church called 69a. Sells everything vintage and antique, including some clothing and accessories. And a little way down that road (is it Renshaw St? I am terrible with road names - the one that runs along to Lewis's and Lime St station) is Grand Central, the Gaudi-esque looking building which has been taken over by all the brilliant little shops that got booted out of Quiggins when they redeveloped the building (booo!! still cross about this). Lots of vintage stuff in there and some shops that sell really cheap and quirky jewellery and that sort of thing. Well worth a look and don't be put off by all the goths loitering outside, it's the sort of place that welcomes everyone
Despite the general gloom of yesterday's blog post, I have remembered there is something to look forward to today - I'm going to see Mark Kermode give a talk tonight. I do love him.
Today's outfit is:
Black ankle boots - Evans
Black jeans - Dotty P
Sepia spooky print tshirt - ditto
Black velvet blazer - not sure
Silver & quartz cocktail ring
Silver and black chandelier earrings
Hair all pinned up. And I'm currently wrapped up in a large grey cableknit scarf and grey Fairisle armwarmers as it's so cold! Brrrrrrrrrr.0 -
thanks for the shopping tips alex, will hopefully get chance to check them out0

retro- is it taking the pic your having a problem with? mirrors are near impossible for me! I find a flat surface to balance my camera on instead (kitchen worktop is perfect height!)
right,
off to the local garden centre on a mission for a birthday card (so much cheaper than the card shops here) and then to Tesco to replace the lunch my Dad ate as part of his dinner last night0 -
Squeeeeeeeeeeeeee!! The shoes have arrived!!!!
ETA - I'm no help with photos I'm afraid. On the verge of binning my irritating camera this morning!0 -

Can you find your way in and back out again? If so then yes go but if you are anything like me you need someone to come with you- Im not allowed at the Metro Centre by myself as I have such a bad sense of direction I end up walking round and round the same mall:o:rotfl:**"Yesterday is gone.
