*sends out oodles of hugs to those in need*

and thanks for the blood test sympathy. I'm kind of used to it now and normally it is fine,
just got unlucky this week haha.
  • Daisy - sorry to hear about your bloods, I hate having blood taken at the best of times :(

GG - The brooch and mirror are gorgeous, looks like you had a good old rummage today :D

I wish I didn't have an essay to finish (yes still) otherwise I'd be having a lookie round the charity shops myself today. Having said that I'm on a no clothes/shoes/accessories challenge so would be pretty pointless really lol
*wonders when they will make dressing gowns acceptable day wear?*
No new toiletries challenge - use up the stash first!

The charity shops round here are a bit rubbish, very overpriced and mainly washed out Primark things! But about 20 minutes drive away they're fantastic! It's a small town and i'm not sure why, but they get some great stuff in. My dad does the best, he's had Dior suits and things from there for £4.99

I got some Dorothy Perkins purple heels there for £2 which is a good start to my wear my purple challenge :)

Been trying on my summer clothes in an effort to cheer myself up and convince myself summer isn't too far away. ..hmm.

Once again i'm sporting my leopard print dressing gown, it's so cold in my house.

Not convinced of digging out my summer stuff yet, either. At least, not without loads of layers which somewhat ruins the effect :p

Back on the study wagon this afternoon. Hope to get all reading done today so I can start properly on the real work.

I'm such a geek, I'm so excited to be doing this course :o

Shh, i'm allowed to try them on and pretend! Winter seems to have dragged on so long this year.

I should be getting on the study wagon but ebay browsing seems more appealing right now.

GG - love today's blog and all your fabulous finds :) You look so pretty in pink.

With my conservation cleaning hat on, I'd suggest trying a little bit of silver cleaner on the mirror, applied with cotton wool buds to work it into the nooks and crannies. You don't want to use anything too abrasive or harsh on it.

Sounds like I'm the odd one out, I don't mind needles and suchlike. Although whenever I go and donate blood they have to do it from the "wrong" arm because the veins in the "normal" arm aren't right for some reason.

CL, I feel guilty everytime I get one of the blood donation letters thru (which seems to be every week!)..I've given blood before, and almost fainted - had to lie down on the floor and everything, and whilst i would like to again, i seem to flutter in and out of anaemia, which always puts them off accepting me back!
probably a good thing, as i've now moved, and would be wary about feeling so faint and having to drive home afterwards..

and i always seem to work better with something else open in the background haha
