i  carboot sales, and flea markets, and charity shops, and jumble sales, and second hand shops... you're so lucky to have one on a thurs

I love car boot sales. I sometimes wonder if I am sad because I actually get a bit fed up when I can't go to our local one on a Sunday if we aren't at home :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Morning all. It's such a luxury to be posting (from my bed, I might add!) at this time! I'm not even remotely dressed yet but wanted to ask a question...

Do any of you guys really regret selling/giving away clothes? I'm totally ruthless when it comes to my wardrobe and I sell lots of old stuff on eBay. My rule is if I haven't worn it in 6 months, it goes. I was thinking about it last night and am actually gutted at some of the stuff I've sold! Namely, a purple and yellow floral patterned white skirt from H&M. I LOVED that skirt - why did I sell?! Sigh.

So, even though I'm currently sliming down my obese wardrobe, I'm gonna be extra careful about what I lose. Anyway, just rambling! Will update with an outfit later. Happy Friday! :)

Oh yes, I have sold a few things that I totally regret, even if I didn't ever wear them, it was more the "but what if it'd actually been perfect" lol.
If I think I'm unsure, I set it aside for a month and go back to it.

    Outfit today:
    Black thermal cami: Uniqlo
Black floral dress with slight shoulder pads: Primark
Mustard tights (inspired by Vicki): Primark
Thin knit grey cardi: New Look
    Thin patent black belt: Primark
    Flat over knee boots: Asos

Then coat etc when I have to go out.

Jewellery: Stud earrings, everyday ring, D&G watch, gold bangles.

Yep, me too, there are lots of pairs of shoes and clothes that i wish i hadn't sold, especially when i tend to sell things for so little.

ETA - is there anything you know you used to have, and then when you go to try and find it, can't find it anywhere so figure you must have sold it???
i spent almost an hour last night looking for a purple shrug i used to practically live in throughout uni, and couldn't find it anywhere..
I know at last check it had a pull in it, which i was holding together with a saftey pin until i fixed it, so i doubt i would have sold it..
that said, i do have another huge (full) wardrobe at my parents holiday house, so i guess i need to check there before it's declared lost for good..

daisy, i know. i just mistakenly thought that if i helped out, the least i could expect from him was a little respect and appreciation, but if he's not ignoring me he's lying to me, and i'm fed up of both! :'(

And you deserve better than both. I'd see this as a tough lesson learned. He doesn't deserve your help, and you are better off without someone like him in your life (even if right now it doesn't feel that way)
