    Afternoon lovelies!

Just lost my original post, grrrrr!

Hope all of you are well. Daisy, I'm a blood test phobic and pass out each and every time - you have my utter sympathy. My short history as a blood donor (now thankfully put paid to by lots of blood transfusions) ended in abject failure as I kept waking up on the floor, partly due to my ridiculously low blood pressure and also my general feeble-mindedness.

Do I hear talk of charity shops? Speaking as the self-styled queen of chazzing, no charity shop is ever rubbish, you need to be persistent and to keep popping in. If it was easy to find stuff they'd be no fun in going. There's always an interesting book, a vintage scarf or a pretty belt buckle lurking somewhere, believe me!

Today's outfit is up on the blog. (It's all second-hand, as it usually is.)

Has everyone got plans for the weekend? I've been out for the last couple of nights and am quite looking forward to a pizza and a bottle of vino in order to recharge my batteries ready for saturday night.

    Goan

I think I've just given up on finding bargains in the local charity shops, but I do still visit them all when walking past, just in case!

Weekend plans, hm, not really! I'd forgotten I have tomorrow morning off work (nice suprise) and a couple more in March due to forgetting about holiday owing!
Mum and I are off to a town about twenty minutes away for a wander and sea front coffee stop...as well as some charity shopping and stocking up on basics in Lidl!

Fab outfit Goan, just checked your blog. I Love the Charity shops that are all messed up, don't like it when all the rails are coloured co-ordinated I just feel it takes some of the fun out of it, we used to have a huge MS one near us that was filled to the rafters with all sorts. Speaking of vintage scarves I got a lovely Jacqmar one in lemon and grey paisley print in a CS yesterday for £1.49.

Heeellllp Im having a total stress!

Im going out with my mate tomorrow night to town and I havent got a thing to wear *blub*....well I have it down to 2 outfits but I think I will probably look like a big fat frump in either of them...

1st outfit i my black wrap dress I got from the CS on Friday- very plain and simple, thought I could pair this with some coloured tights (have purple ones or the raspberry ones I have on today- obviously I will wash them lol)..or I have seen some fab turquoise ones in Tescos that I could nip out to get tomorrow....teamed with black calf length suede boots with bow on the side which are a bit like these but in black and a bit higher heel http://www.shoeperwoman.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/suede-slouch-boots.jpg

....hair will be bright red by tonight!! (have to get off my butt to do it once the kids are in bed)...and I have some fab turquoise make up and liquid eyeliner that really would go well with the red....

Or I have a colour block dress thats black on the top and pink skirt on the bottom......not too keen on it to be honest seems more of a daytime look to me...... have some black tights and some high peep toes black shoes with strips of the same pink on the front....

I struggle so much with going out stuff as even though Im in my 30's anyone whos got me on FB will see I dont really look my age...so stuff I like tends to make me look like a young lass dressing up in her mums clothes :(:(:(:(

What does everyone think?? >>>>Retro goes to sob in a heap in the corner...........

I will be posting my outfit Daisy - I want opinions!

Lola I've got a habit of bringing half the shop home with me but after a while you do get sort of hardened to it. It's my youngest daughter that gets most stuff, she is a childrens size 13 or an adult 8 or 10, there's always loads of stuff in those sizes and she has almost exactly the same taste in clothes as me so I know what she'll like.

Love the blouse Goan, it really suits you.

Retro - Go for the black dress and funk it up with the purple tights. The boots are fab. If you don't feel good in the other dress eBay it, your feelings will never improve towards it and you'll just feel miserable whenever you look at it.
(PM me your facebook name so's I can see you).

Lola - I hate colour co-ordinated charity shops too!

Daisy - Can't wait to hear what you get, have a lovely day!

    Retro, no sobbing okay?

*wonders when they will make dressing gowns acceptable day wear?*
No new toiletries challenge - use up the stash first!

CL - Yep they'll tell you after your first session..

Goan - No weekend plans here really, got a couple of exit surveys scheduled for tomorrow, which hopefully i'll be allowed to do this week, so that gets me out the house and earning something extra..but nothing sunkday, which is usually my miserable day anyway!

Retro - the wrap dress, turq tights and makeup and those boots will look fab :) enjoy yourself xx

Eeeh! may have to be brave tomorrow when Im all done up and take a pic of myself (though Im not the most photogenic!)
