Hello everyone
Argh so many nice things being brought on here at the moment! I have made a couple of purchases some black platform high heeled patent shoes from Peacocks which were in the sale at £10 (couldn’t resist them) which I brought at the weekend.
I’ve also brought myself some red patent round toe high heels with a red bow on the front off Ebay which will arrive in the next few days. Am hoping they will go with my new Vivien of Holloway dress that I’m planning to buy at the weekend (yes I managed to hold off till I could get to the shop and get my 10% off).
Decided that while I’m in London I may as well pop into Debenhams on Oxford Street to see if they happen to have the elusive black dress as there’s always a chance I suppose.
Todays outfit is a staple favourite.
Red V neck Top – Florence & Fred
Black Cardigan – QS
Black wide leg trousers – Debenhams
Black stiletto boots – Faith
Am resigning myself to the fact that I’m going to have to throw these boots away soon they have holes in the end of the toes and when it rains my feet get wetother than that they are fine and so comfy but I think the time has come to realise that they really should go. Its’ a sad, sad day
Going to whack a load of stuff on Ebay tonight. Think I may have a really good clear out ready to buy some new stuff inOne day Rodney we'll be millionaires£2020 in 2020 - Running Total £170 -
Alex, thanks for the link, I'm almost out of eyepins, and haven't been anywhere to buy in bulk for ages (since i was in uni)..think i may have to try and make do with those for the time being, ho hum..think that's the problem i always seem to have, with trying to find something that i have only actually imagined really exists :S0

Dorothy Perkins of course, I don't seem to shop anywhere else :rotfl: I didn't see it in my local store or on the website (same with the dress I bought) but then up it popped on the sale rail in the tiny store in Skipton.
I've seen the shoe pics and wow, I am in awe!0 -
I just got a fab necklace at the flea market. Little man said 'that is very pretty mummy and makes you smell lovely' Weird child. I'll stick it on the blog later - it's black though
I should have been a goth.

Afternoon, lovelies!
Hope everyone's well and happy this wet, miserable day.
I've been swimming and picked up a rather fab vintage coat for a local chazza shop on the way home. Photo on blog!
Don't think I could ever do a "no buying" challenge but big respect to those that do.
Today's outfit:
Purple satin puddycat bow blouse (Car Boot)
Refashioned navy blue gent's dress pants into shorts (Chazza shop)
Purple tights
Knee high brown leather Edwardian lace-up boots (Chazza shop)
Tan leather Furla bag (Chazza shop)
Vintage tan suede Escada lion's head belt (Car Boot)
Stacks of gold and wood bangles (car boots and markets)
Wood cocktail ring and brass ring with purple stone (Car boot)
Brass hoop earrings (Car Boot)
Off to wrap eBay parcels as I seem to have sold loads in the last 24 hours!
Catch you later,
Goan

Hi folks
What odd weather we've had here today. It was absolutely pitch black and pouring down when I left for work at stupid o'clock this morning, then around 8am it started snowing quite heavily. Now it's quite sunny and no trace of the snow. I'm starting to wonder if I fell asleep and dreamed it!
Such a lot of posts to catch up on since yesterday, everybody has been busy. I love looking at everyone's blogs, but just don't have time to do one of my own. Maybe when my life's a little more ordered - it certainly couldn't be more chaotic that's for sure!
I'm feeling very uninspired by my winter wardrobe at the moment, mainly because I've been wearing it so long! Currently I'm layering lots, as the temp at work can be a bit erratic to say the least. Anyway, I'm trying to liven it up with accessories and what nots. I've so far relined a waistcoat in some vintage fabric from an old apron, added some huge red buttons to my big cardi-coat, and made a big felt flower brooch.
So today I'm wearing my lopsided look :rotfl:
long grey handkerchief hem tunic
dark grey oversized sweater, longer at back than front
black leggings over wool tights
black boots
pink chiffon rose pinned to sweater (Marc Jacobs freebie form years ago)
vintage chunky perspex ring
vintage 70s "Pagan" perfume bottle necklace (still has the perfume in and probably smells dreadful!)0 -

Oh, I wish you would start blogging, your outfits always sound amazing and I want to peep at your Tretchikoff print and the rest of your kitsch collection of lovely household stuff!0 -
I love how busy this thread is getting, gives me more to read whilst living my quiet life
Plans of baking gone out the window today as I'm struggling big time with energy. Just about made it to the pharmacy lol.
Going to do some reading for my course instead, and essay plan. Eek.0 -

Oh, rather you than me, Daisy! I've got loads of energy just lacking in the motivation department. xxx0
