I'm not having a great day today. I slept in and had to get ready really quickly, so pulled on first clean things that came to hand. Currently wearing:
red shirt sleeved checked shirt
black vest underneath
boyfriend jeans
Converse boots
I feel like a lumberjack! :rotfl:
On the upside, I had to pop out at lunchtime to pick up a prescription and nipped into the charity shop next door to Boots and found some lovely 70s kitchen storage jars.0 -

I decided against ordering from new look in the end, I'm going to try the leggings on in store Monday and maybe treat myself as a bribe for going to my doctors appointment.
Still managed to spend today, but only £3 on 10 silicone cupcake cases as I tried my four out for the first time today and loved them!0 -
Daisy you're naughty for saying about the New Look free delivery! But I'm really pleased as I was lusting after the velvet leggings in store the other day and they didn't have my size. I've ordered the ones that come in S M L sizes as the velvet was so much softer than the individually sized ones. I also ordered (both from the Tall range yipee!) a blue checked long pin tucked shirt, don't know if I'll like it because I don't usually do checks but I liked the fact it didn't have a collar and it will be good with my trusty polo necks and on its own when it gets warmer and also what is described as a 'black silky tunic' or something, it looks like a good versatile basic but I'll have to see it. They were £10 and £8 respectively. If everything has to go back I've not lost out. How are you all going to wear your velvet leggings? I'm sure I'll be boring and just wear mine under a knee length skirt with boots or ballet pumps.
Today I'm wearing the same as yesterday (shame on me), black combats and purple and black striped tunic t-shirt.
Goan - is your tortoise really as big as it looks? It looks HUGE!0 -
Never posted on this thread before but have been avidly stalking you all for months now
. I am SUPER jealous of all your clothes, I live in Australia and the clothes are generally very very high quality, but very very expensive. I can't tell you how much I miss Primark. I started stalking this thread when I was planning my trip back to the UK (which took place in Nov 09) to get ideas about what was currently in the shops and plan my attack. It worked quite well, but I'm already lusting after a day in a huge Primark...
Anyway, I logged on to say GrammarGirl I'm sure this has been suggested by why not have an ebay/blog clear out and allow yourself to use the proceeds to buy new stuff? Mr GG won't be able to object to that! If you do, please can you let me know, I love your clothes and would love a chance to buy some of them!0 -
Almo, hello! Welcome

Afternoon ladies!
Just popping in before I dash to the post office with my eBay parcels.

I think Netty http://nettyp-loveandlife.blogspot.com is another of our gang but I haven't worked out her MSE name yet!
Apologies if I've missed anyone.
Bloggings great fun, anyone who is hesitating should definately give it a go. Don't be shy, if we wanted to see 18year old size zero models we'd read a magazine. Blogs are fun of real women of all shapes, sizes and ages without limitless trust funds and designer wardrobes.
Like Rainywednesday I'm a huge interiors fan - I get more excited with my vintage furniture finds than clothes so if you're shy about showing yourself why not share your dressing table or sofa?
Back soon with an outfit post!
Goan

Not finished catching up with the thread yet, but NettyP is a friend of mine rather than an MSEr. As is Kel - http://silverpeacockhair.blogspot.com/
