Fashion chat- Dressed up or down??? All welcome!!

Bit later than usual today - have been on an early which is unusual for me. Was dreading the bus journey home in the snow but it turned out to be fine - except when the whole bus looked at me like I was a nutter when I read something really good on the WAP on my phone - and squealed 'oh my god!' at the top of my voice

Oh dearie me.

Anyway today's outfit was:

Purple and cream long striped v-neck jumper with faux buckle detail (Xmas pressie from Mum)
Dark blue faded-wash jeans with diamante detail (Bon Marche but an Xmas pressie from Mum a few years back)
Green zip-up hoodie with diamante detail (Evans, Xmas pressie from Mum again - my mum doesnt buy ALL my clothes, promise however she does have exceptional taste and knows exactly what I like )
Cream socks with snowflake detail in silver (Primark Loughborough, £1.50 for 2 pairs - I bought these myself )
White and baby blue Nikes (present from Mum from America)
Black swing coat with hood, multicoloured scarf, grey knitted beanie and grey gloves (Evans, Bon Marche, BHS and Matalan - guess who bought me them :rotfl:)

No jewellery for work as usual but today's perfume was Emporio Armani Diamonds.

What department do you work in?

I've never worn perfume to work because I know if I feel ill I hate smelling perfume. I think it was banned where I trained too. I wear it now though because it won't upset my client base.

Caroline, I get days like those...I tend to stay in my PJs all day when it happens...not so good if you have to work though or go out I guess

I've gone smart as we have a supplier meeting today, so bottom up:

trusty evans boots
pink (and i mean pink!) tights!
black knee length skirt
black vest with daisys on the neck
pink tunic top over the vest
just my silver bracelet today

I also have wavy hair today, i slept with it in knots and moussed it this morning, its cute, I like it

sibles - I like doing that to my hair but it only lasts about half a day before it's gone back to being not-quite-straight again, grr!

GG - I am mightily impressed by your challenge! How on earth aren't you freezing to death??

I am having a completely comfy day today and can't be bothered even looking a bit nice So it's jeans, black vest, long grey fitted hoody, black pashmina. No jewellery and hair up in a bun.

and if I get really fed up with staying inside I'll stick on my adidas stan smiths and go for a walk,
I'd forgotten I even owned them, thats how little I wear trainers, but they will make a change from wellies and I have a feeling I'll get cabin fever before too long today.

morning everyone, no new snow here today, think it's going..although eve so i managed to wake up in a grumpy mood :<
to cheer myself up, wearing my fabulous new all saints 7 curses dress, which i have been coveting for so long, and finally managed to get hold of in the sale in bham (47.50 down from 150!)
