    Morning all :D

Im up and about early this morning - had to go to bank. Back to work again - but its December 1st tomorrow and we'll be putting up the ward Xmas decorations - yay!! Its also very cold here - it feels really wintery but the sun is gorgeous!!!

    Anyway, today's outfit is:

    Blue v-necked jumper - £10, Evans
Black cotton bootcut suit trousers - (same as yesterday, I felt lazy today!!!)
Brown socks with pale pink spots and a pink bow (£1.50 for 2 pairs, Primark)
and my trusty white and baby blue Nikes.

I had a jacket on earlier as well (shock horror!) which I will also be wearing to work - its a navy zip-up hoodie with silver writing on it and a furry-lined hood (Matalan sale last year) my work bag is a black quilted one that Mum brought me back from Kenya, and my perfume today is 'Laugh with me LeeLee' from the Crescent Row Collection by BeneFit.

Have a good day everyone! xx

Blinking flip, it's freezing here! So cold last night it was hot water bottle time. I've just had to stick an extra jumper on (I keep one in my drawer at work as my room's a bit draughty!).

I didn't go to the vintage fair on Sunday after all. The weather was absolutey atrocious, really cold and rained all day, and I just couldn't summon up the enthusiasm for it so gave it a miss. I might trot down to the Leeds one next week, but if not, there's another one here in Feb.

Dressed for warmth more than anything else today:
    black flared jumper (H&M)
handmade knitted flower pinned to jumper
    jeans
    grey Uggs
    extra jumper (Wall)
    duffle coat
red & blue mohair long scarf

I'm glad I'm not the only one feeling the cold
(though I wish we were all warm)
I'm dreading having to go out later,
right now I'm wrapped up in a blanket with the cat on my feet...who needs a hot water bottle when you have a lazy fluff ball in the house?
  • Afternoon All

Is freezing here today! Though think I slightly prefer it to the torrential rain we have had for the last few weeks!

Weekend has been filled with decorating the house and a poor attempt at starting Christmas shopping!

    Today I am wearing:

Browny/Grey cashmere jumper - F&F £10 reduced from £20. Got it a few sizes big so looks ok over leggings (Anyone else find wearing leggings with a top that doesn't cover the crotch area just abit wrong or is it just me?!)
    Black leggings - H&M £7
    Grey t-shirt - H&M £5
Black flat boots - Matalan £10 must must must get some new flat boots, soles are completely worn out!

Hope everyone manages to warm up this afternoon!

Dismal morning here....we over slept by almost twenty minutes, a dog was sick over night, and the weather was just dismal. Then, having raced to get DH to the station on time, someone slammed his hand in the door at the ticket office, and within a couple of minutes is was swollen and blue. :( ....and then the train was delayed, so we could have relaxed a bit had we known, and becuase of the sick dog I had bundled them in the car so we had to huddle i the car for an hour waiting for the delayed train, and kissing DH's poor hand.

But the weather cleared, and its now beautiful sun with a bitter wind, hopefully drying up the soil.

Jeans, black vest, black flats, black cardi, big black sun glasses!

went charity shopping ths morning. I'm really after a couple more silk scarves for my hair in the mornings (trning into my grandmother!) but the cheapest was a very ugly one, and £12. the ones I liked were £30. It makes me a bit grumpy, because i could uy cheap and new for that.

What I did find was a mexican embroidered white cotten dress (nightdress?) which I plan to wear as a sundress with brown cow boy boots or spanish boots, and a chunky brown belt when I've lost some weight next summer. :) The bottom is very grubby and stained, but its long, so I plan to get rid of that and re hem. £14.

(we just don't seem to have the bargains round here that some of you find )

Well, we can find well-priced decent quality high street stuff round here, but we don't seem to have the original, designer and quirky items that some of you others seem to find! Certainly no Mexican embroidered nightdresses!!

BTW, forum etiquette, help please.....is it bad form to edit other people's posts as I have above? I do it to save space in quoting a long post and so people can easily identify the bit I'm replying to, but I saw someone apologise for doing it the other day:confused:.

    Hello All!

It's flippin' freezing here today but so beautiful and bright. By the time I'd walked to yoga I was positively glowing and upset my yoga buddies by throwing all the windows open and turning the heating down. I can't understand why these ladies pay to do an exercise class and drive half-a-mile to get to it - surely a brisk walk would warm them up and improve their fitness?

Hope your husband's hand gets better soon, LiR. The charity shops sound ridiculously overpriced. I'm a big fan of nighties, hip belts and cowboy boots.

    Today's outfit:
    TopShop grey hareems
Purple vest layered over a longer black one (Car boot, ex-TopShop)
Grey woolly tightsSilver tribal bangles and rings (India)
    Polished turquoise earrings (Pressie)
Vintage leather high-leg pirate boots (Chazza shop)
Huge beaten silver pendant with jade stone set on a silver snake chain (India)

Off to prepare tonight's chilli sin carne lasagne. Desperately need to go shopping so it's a tea with imagination this evening.

Enjoy the rest of your day!

Can't see why, its correct protocol in other forms of publishing/writing, where too long a quote full of irrelivances would be poor form...I edit away ...one person once expressed annoyance,..but, I, er....smiled and apologised and ignored. ;)

Today it's a lazy off uni day, so it's casual for me I'm afraid. Am wearing:

    Fenchurch jeans
    Top from New Look
    Underwear including half neon socks
Hoody from Matalan (this season, white and so so warm)
    ** Total debt: £6950.82 ± May NSDs 1/10 **
    ** Fat Bum Shrinking: -7/56lbs **
    **SPC 2012 #1498 -£152 and 1499 ***
I do it all because I'm scared.
